Nice course
Nice course but no beverage cart or even at the halfway house was closed Needed beer and hot dogs
Chedoke - Martin
Course was in great shape. Not too busy for a beautiful weekday afternoon.
Great staff
We arrived late due to traffic, check-in desk was very accommodating and understanding although the employee at the start of the Martin course was rude and unprofessional. One bad apple doesn't ruin it for the rest tho, the other employees made it up. Overall great experience and I would return.
Course was in very good condition for early in the year but it was on & off rain, windy & cold (+4C) It is very good value for the money
Great round of golf on a less than perfect day.
Shot 18 on the Martin course. I got there a bit early and was able to get in ahead of my scheduled tee time which was great because I scheduled for 3:30. Staff was friendly, the starter (Paul I believe?) Is a very nice guy. They let us bring our own beers as they don't have any on course amenities, clubhouse sells chips and pop but thats it. I was very appreciative. I would suggest you bring your own beer and snacks if your like me.
The course is walking only at this point so we got walking carts. The layout and scenic views of the course are really nice especially at dusk (hole 18 with the sun setting is majestic). Even with the rain mid round the course played really well. Greens and fairways were well manicured and the spacious fairways are forgiving. Its not a very long course but the tree lined fairways keep it challenging. The elevation changes are great and will be sure to give you a good workout.
Great course for the value
Great course for the value would be nice to have some more signs and ball cleaners other wise amazing course
Good for the price
Reasonably priced decent course however a lot of the fairways are right next to each other so you end up getting players spraying their shots in each other's Fairways and you're constantly dodging and interacting with other players. The course itself is a bit of a strange layout a lot of zigzagging but as I said the price is pretty fair. I think really above average golfers would find it quite boring and frustrating though better for intermediate to beginners
Odd
No markers
Lots of holes missing hole number
No real direction to get around course
Played 18 and did not see a refreshment cart
Dis honest
Left my wedge on hole 2. Went back and the group said they have it to the marshal. Went to him. He denied and it and said I’ll find it. It was never found. Sad but tru. Good luck getting 60 bucks on Kijji
Dishonest day
Left my wedge on the second hole. Went back to see if the group behind me found it. They said yes. They said they gave it to one of the people who work there. Had the Marshall confirm that and he searched everywhere. Never was found. It was a three year old mill grind wedge. Lucky to get 40 bucks on Kijji for it. Petty sad. The group behind said yes. Described the wedge and no one coughed it up. Too boot the group said. We have it to one of the guys who work here and he was going to drop it at the pro shop. It’s not the wedge it’s the morals of the game and how disappointed I was not to see goodness prevail
