Dating back to 1973, King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton is among the top public golf courses in Ontario. The conditions are top-notch especially for a municipal course, and Ontario Golf Magazine has recognized King's Forest as a "Hidden Gem." King's Forest has hosted the Canadian Junior Golf Association Ontario finals, the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship Qualifier and the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship.

This is amazing i will recommend this to all of my co golfers.
I played well and enjoy every hole due to great features.
Once through the front nine we hit a roadblock. One group late in the afternoon slowing down the entire course. 3 hour pace to complete the back nine. An hour of golf lost and at least 5 groups of golfers that could have finished didn't get to finish their rounds. Too bad. Lots of Marshall's around too.
Course views are superb in Fall
Love this course. Great variety of holes, with difficulty placed throughout. Long with hilly portions and spectacular views especially #11 tee block. At this time of year, mid October, greens bumpy and erratic as expected for a public course.

Really good track. The design is outstanding. Condition was quite good although the greens were aerated. I wish they would tell you that on the app before you pay...

Challenging track with smooth greens. Good value!
Narrow, tree lined fairways and thick rough made this course very challenging. You need very accurate tee shots to set up a chance to approach the greens in regulation. Putts roll smoothly on the greens. Tricky breaks to read on the greens.
Bring plenty of patience along with your own food and drinks. There's no food/drink cart service. Food at the clubhouse was very poor quality.
Good test of golf
Very good shape considering dry summer. Some dry spots on fairways and tee boxes. Greens were in beautiful shape considering high volume play. Rolled true. Greens medium fast. I forgot what a beautiful course it was. Some really tight driving holes.
