Played front 9 twice cause of the backup.
Was told at clubhouse it went busy, got to second hole and paired up with 2 other guys cause the course was backed up from the members championship going on, teed off at 3:30 and finished at 7, down right horrible.
Stunning
The course is in perfect shape. I would like to give a shout out to the trio of grounds keeper. Well done. Doing a perfect job. Friendly and fun. Shot 86 which at the KING is a good score.
Tough course
I’m a decent player but the length and punitive nature of many holes take their pound of flesh. Mature, long, tight. Great condition.
Excellent all around
I make sure to play this course every year. It's a beautiful course and reasonably priced. It didn't hurt that it was hosting PING Canadian Junior Match-Play Championship; the course was in fantastic condition. Highly recommended for all levels of play.
Escarpment views
Course in great condition. Play a little slow and no marshals in site. Most holes require a accurate tee shot and then the holes play well
Always
The king. Always a pleasure. Course was in great shape. Everything is in full bloom and I can’t wait to come back. 11 th hole is a stunner as always.
Great to see the King
Almost dried out
A perfect weather day made for a crowded course. Course conditions are nearly perfect after the crazy wet spring. Was paired up with a couple of young members and had a great time. Always a treat to play here.
Great course
Wonderful course with meandering fairways. Challenging lies.
Easy to navigate
Soggy...like everywhere this spring
Still one of the best Municipal courses around...tough at any time but with very long rough and wet conditions, even tougher.
Nit much can be done about that with the cool rainy weather this spring but I was surprised that carts were being driven everywhere...still conditions were mostly very good. Very busy day but round was relatively quick, just over 4 hours
Very close now
The course is drying out well. Still a few very wet areas, but I had dry shoes at the end of the round for the first time this year. Keep it in the fairway, the rough is still very punishing.
Course was in the shape as to be expected from all of the rain ,Hope to play again when weather improves .
Pace if play was brutal
2 threesomes ahead of combined to form a 6some. Grounds keeper drove by and said nothing. Eventually I approached them and said it was ridiculous. They were so slow...no Marshall anywhere to be seen....we left after 9 holes....I need to join a private club and get away from the cement head low brow golfers that infect the public space
A bog frolic, swalllowed all our balls and is too!
The course should be closed. I arrived and due to weather power carts were not allowed. I prepaid for power carts. Then they told me it would be $6 each for pull carts to which I objected. They provided them.
The course was in terrible shape. Every ball not in the fairway or on the green was a lost ball. Walking was so wet it was like walking on a loose sand beach it was so boggy.
We left after 7 holes and 16 lost balls. I’m not kidding 16. I rarely finish a round without the same ball I tee up on #1.
