Dating back to 1973, King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton is among the top public golf courses in Ontario. The conditions are top-notch especially for a municipal course, and Ontario Golf Magazine has recognized King's Forest as a "Hidden Gem." King's Forest has hosted the Canadian Junior Golf Association Ontario finals, the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship Qualifier and the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship.

Ridiculous
Worst experience ever..at the turn the starter put groups in front of us that did not have a booked tee time..we waited 20 minutes at the turn and 5 minutes at the next 4 holes and super slow the rest of the back ...2 hours front 9 ...3 hours back 9 ...won't be back
Good Course
I booked Kings Forest a while ago . I was surprised that they were offering cart with green fee but I booked it anyways thinking that it may be right this time. I receive a email from Golf Now Support saying that it will be cart path only . This is the second time this has happened and because of this one of my players had to cancel. I received no discount or refund from getting no cart . This is the 2nd time at Kings Forest . #NOT IMPRESSED

If you need a power cart call in advance to confirm they are permitting them on the front 9. They were not the day we booked due to course conditions and my friend could not play due to a medical issue requiring him to use a cart. Very disappointing!
