About
Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

Decent run. Not busy during week
Went for a Wednesday round. Called ahead and somehow didn't have tee time slot I wanted so booked through golf now. Arrive at course and hardly anyone out on it. Not sure why they couldn't give me my prefered slot. Was really weird.
The course was in decent shape considering how dry it's been this summer. Fairways were firm but not hard. Greens were a touch fast but not dry. Sprinklers going which definitely helps. Decent divots were made from both. Some tricky holes and some good length from the whites. Most of the course is pretty forgiving but challenging to shoot well.
Staff are friendly. Food was decent. No drink cart but not sure if it was because of weekday or they don't do it. Even with the lighting delay, everything was very friendly.
Overall very happy experience. May be back again of I'm in the area.
Great day on the course
Hornby Glen is a bargain Walkable course, was quite dry with the lack of rain, but the greens were still in good shape. Good value for the money.
I will be back to play again.
Good value for a Hot Deal
Got a good deal under a hot deal for this course. Course layout is average. The fairways and greens were in reasonably good shape. Fairly flat and walkable.. Playing again next week.
