About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Good Day
We were the only ones on the course and the staff were very friendly. It was windy and a little chilly but still a great day out. I recommend playing here to most.
IMPRESSED
It had been 7-8 years since I played River Edge, I'd forgotten what a nice tract it is. User friendly, good test for most levels of golfer, nice golf holes with enough trouble to keep golfers honest and thinking.
You won't play every club in the bag but most - greens are large and reward good putts and make you think if you make a poor one.
Not much of a club house - certainly not suitable for business golf but well worth playing again.

Keep the ball in play
First time on the course, very tight tee shots. Emphasis on hitting fairways. Big undulating greens. Next time will be prepared to club up to ensure that I don't have as many 40 foot putts. Overall, I really like the course.
Very slow play
The course is nice and kind of challenging. However, it was so slow and took me 3-1/2 hours to finish 1st round of nine holes. I did not see any workers from the club to push and remind the slow player, even girls/guys looking for balls.
Best 9 Hole Course in the area
The course was in great shape, with fast greens and fast fairways. The pace of play was great and very friendly people who were very accomodating.
Good day out
The course as always is in great condition.. It was a slow day due to a tournament and the assistants not pairing up twosomes. We were with a couple on the front nine who left after . It was nice that the starters told us to play through the two on the tee as it was our second nine . We paired up with a twosome on "2 . From then on it was a lot of waiting . All said an done we still did enjoy a great day out with great weather .
Fun Course!
My husband and I really enjoyed this course. It has just enough challenge to keep us on our toes. :) We will definitely play here again.
Impressed
We were late for our tee time but the pro shop got us out right away. They were out of power carts so we had to walk the first nine despite having paid for the cart.
Service at the snack bar was the best I've ever experienced. Starters and Marshall's were super friendly.
The golf course is not very long but it's narrow in places making you think twice before grabbing driver. The 7th hole is 415 yard par 5 so that's a bit weak, but the other 8 holes are all nicely designed with mounding and sand and very mature trees everywhere.
The greens were a bit too soft, meaning spike marks were a problem. Evidently there was a tournament in front of me full of people that don't know how to walk in golf shoes. Please folks, don't pivot on the greens. It's common sense isn't it?

Course was soft but in good shape, tee boxes were fresh and greens weren't bombed out like a lot of Golf North places.
Nice course but disapointing pace of play
A marshall anywhere on the course would have been useful. A 2-some ahead of us retired early rather than subject themselves to the tardy first 9 hole pace. I
Beautiful course in great condition
The course is set next to the grand river and is very beautiful. The course is in fantastic condition, well maintained and very pretty. Pace of play is at times a bit slow waiting on the par 3's and doing 18 holes causes more set back at the turn. Overall a nice course to play.

This attractive course is Harder than it looks, but we'll worth trying!
After finishing the first nine holes, I was excited to try it again and play even a better round.

Always in good shape
staff was very friendly. They did ask for the confirmation. Despite it being only 9 holes this course is always good to play. It is in good shape but it won't be a lot of fun if you spray the ball.
