RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

great day
From the time we entered the clubhouse, greeted and explained the course by the starter, played 18 holes, tough but honest course it was a great day. Will go back as soon as possible.
These are the worst golf carts l have ever played in
These golf carts were so terrible that all of them had head covers for your bags on the rear were all broken and water got in our clubs and the carts were all damaged not to mention that we got out to the end of the third hole and our golf cart died then we call Golf North and the girl online could not get hold of the pro shop and want to hang up on us as it was the hottest day of the year I've got a hip replacement and could not walk but the girl from Golf North every time she came back to me said boy called the pro shop two more times and no one was answering and wanted to end the call and leave us stranded. Not cool. I told her to keep calling with no result my friend had to call in another line and she was rude stating now we are tying up two lines. Finally a nice group gave us one of their carts to continue we finally seen the marshal at the 7th hole where we complained and he said people did not show up for work. Very shody for a golf north
Hi there, thank you for your feedback regarding RiverEdge Golf Club. We are very sorry that you had a less than ideal experience at one of our courses. We hope that you will consider golfing with us again in the future and have a much better experience. We will pass this information on and contact the General Manager at RiverEdge.
A Gem!
This course is a hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. Very conveniently located off the 401 for a quick 9 or 18 hole game. You won't be disappointed playing this course and it is also on golfnow.com for discounted rounds.
Picturesque 9 hole course
Very nice course- the greens were quick, there were tough par 3s and some narrow fairways on the longer holes. Lovely spot but with only 9 holes (just go around again- same tee blocks) I wouldn't want to play on the weekend. Club house has no potable water-!?
Very green!
Great conditions. Holds water well down in the valley. Superintendent takes pride in the course.
Plenty of challenge for bogey golfer
Course is on a riverflat so has more water than most. Fairways and greens are green. Greens are in good condition and roll well..
We are 16 to 20 handicappers played from white tees and had a good challenge.
It is a nine hole course but we tried to better our score the second time round after we knew about problems.
Will play it again
Played 18 holes on a tough and challenging 9 hole golf course. Greens are in great condition. If you're a long hitter you should play the tips. Each hole is different short and long Par 3s, challenging par 5 as well. Staff were great as well. I dont mind bringing my friends and play again going twice on a 9 hole course.
Great Course
Second round was faster than first but it is a great course very challenging
Perfect for half a game
Very pretty scenic course with a combination of tough holes and easier holes. Water comes into play on several of the 9. Always in good shape. Bring extra balls with you unless your very accurate shooter.
Good condition, except for bunkers and unfriendly staff
Please remove the rocks from the bunkers. Also be friendly to golfers. The course is in great condition, just the bunkers and staff would keep me away
Great challenging course with some interesting quirks
Depending on your choice of tees this course can be a nice walk in the park or a very challenging course. The back tees make certain extremely difficult where the whites would be good for any mid handicapper.
The course has seen better days but so far in the 2016 season it looks like it's in pretty good shape.
Pace of play can be an issue depending on how well the people are in front of you as the fairways are pretty close to each other, this does mean that if you do hit an errant tee shot you are more likely to find your ball.
Great use of water to add challenges to mostly every hole.
Depending on the time of day this place can be a real steal to get 9.
Well conditioned, nice property
The greens and some fairways had recently been aerated but both were in fair condition. This is a picturesque course with enough challenge for most golfers
RiverEdge
Booked on Golfnow with cart. Carts are old gas ones but work fine. Some holes where you really need to know where to place the ball or you will find trouble.
Nine hole course...so after finishing 9 it is sometimes difficult to fit in for 2nd 9 holes. Conditions earlier in the year were not good but now in the fall there is some moisture in the ground and conditions are much better.
Beautiful course..very clean.
Awesome day golfing.easy drive..close to city. Love this track.. I would recommend this tight clean beautiful course anytime.
Nice place
The golf course location is very nice, lots of birds, deers. We enjoyed the course and will go again.
On # 7 a lot of fescues on the left.

Nice Course
First time playing it with a couple of friends and everyone thought it was a nice course, would definitely go back.
This is a very nice course
My son and I played this course after bringing furniture to his apartment to get ready for school.
We both loved this course. My only complaint was against the actual golfers that play this course. There were so many ball marks on the greens!! Every single green had multiple and I mean multiple ball marks.
For God's sake people, bend over and fix your ball marks.
Great course
Played here again today, course is very scenic and the staff are Great, I would recommend this course to anybody- note bring extra balls if you can't hit it straight LOL!!
Great 9 Hole Course
Very fun course to play and in very good condition. As well as the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Thank you for recommending our course! We are glad you enjoyed your day, and had great things to say about the staff. We hope you will return soon!
