RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Nice 9 hole Course
River Edge is a easy course to play and well maintained, enjoyed the day the weather was beautiful and hot.
River Edge Kitchener
Absolutely beautiful course, was a Saturday afternoon so it was full and a tournament happened to be going on, this probably contributed to the slow play. Only disappointment is it's only 9 holes. You can always go around twice which I do when I can.
Great little course
This is a fun and challenging 9 hole course in great condition.
A bald eagle nest on the second hole is an extra treat to see.
Beautiful 9 Hole Track
This 9 hole course is nestled in a small valley adjacent to the Grand River in Kitchener, ON. Although I took a cart on my most recent visit, the layout is very walk-able and in fact most of the regulars were walking that day. The course is fairly short, scenic, and has enough trouble lurking to keep your attention (which is tough when watching the two resident bald eagles swoop down the second fairway). The course was in top shape that day with meticulously manicured tees and greens. The fairways were excellent and the bunkers were much better than average. The pace of play was 1.5 hours for our first 9 with no-one in front of us. The second 9 was quite a bit slower as we caught up to a slow moving league and waited on every shot. So pick your tee time carefully and consider walking instead of taking a cart. I was told weekdays between 11-2 are generally a great time to play.
Love playing this course. Layout is great and the fairways and greens are always in good shape.
Staff not presentable or friendly
Staff members on the course were not very friendly and wearing jeans, not appropriate for the golf course. Golf cart ran out of gas on the second hole and because it's a golfnorth property and it wasn after 5:00 pm we could not be connected with the clubhouse.
Another facility that is going down hill after being acquired by golfnorth .
play this course
sure its only 9 holes but its in great shape and the staff was very welcoming... I would and will play again soon
Excellent staff and course conditions
The course was in excellent shape and the staff were friendly and helpful. Fun to play course.
great day
From the time we entered the clubhouse, greeted and explained the course by the starter, played 18 holes, tough but honest course it was a great day. Will go back as soon as possible.
Thank you for recommending our course! We are glad you enjoyed your day, and had great things to say about the staff. We hope you will return soon!
These are the worst golf carts l have ever played in
These golf carts were so terrible that all of them had head covers for your bags on the rear were all broken and water got in our clubs and the carts were all damaged not to mention that we got out to the end of the third hole and our golf cart died then we call Golf North and the girl online could not get hold of the pro shop and want to hang up on us as it was the hottest day of the year I've got a hip replacement and could not walk but the girl from Golf North every time she came back to me said boy called the pro shop two more times and no one was answering and wanted to end the call and leave us stranded. Not cool. I told her to keep calling with no result my friend had to call in another line and she was rude stating now we are tying up two lines. Finally a nice group gave us one of their carts to continue we finally seen the marshal at the 7th hole where we complained and he said people did not show up for work. Very shody for a golf north
Hi there, thank you for your feedback regarding RiverEdge Golf Club. We are very sorry that you had a less than ideal experience at one of our courses. We hope that you will consider golfing with us again in the future and have a much better experience. We will pass this information on and contact the General Manager at RiverEdge.
A Gem!
This course is a hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. Very conveniently located off the 401 for a quick 9 or 18 hole game. You won't be disappointed playing this course and it is also on golfnow.com for discounted rounds.
OK little 9 hole course, yes. Staff are rude. Starter was nice though Way Overpriced!, will never return
