RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Great greens
Great value and pace of play!!
Greens were receptive yet quick!
Beautiful setting along the a Grand River.
Terrible bunker sand
Golfnorth. Should be aware of thr negative. Remarks golfers. We're saying about the terrible sand in the traps full of stones and pebbles. With damages clubs and is also very dangerous I have called many times and explained to administration about the above but haVe been ignored every time I try to communicate to bad as it is a terrific track.
Great little course!
Just finished 18 yesterday at River's Edge after getting a great Hot Deal through Golf Now, and was very pleased with the course. Pace of play was very good, although we played on a Thurs. afternoon. The course is very scenic, in excellent shape, and had great variety with some holes that require some definite shot-making. Greens were very fast, and very well maintained. Will certainly be back.
Great Little nine hole course
I have golfed Rivers Edge a number of times and have always found it to be in great shape. I often said it is to bad it isn't 18 holes. Although it is not real long there are many challenging holes. If you only have time for nine holes one should check it out. I always enjoy going around twive to get in 18
River edge review
It's a great course but a little pricey for a 9 hole course it's always in the best condition in the region for public courses
This course has great features
It's a hidden gem with a breath taking view coming down the drive.
9 hole fun
Challenging yet fun. An often forgotten nice little golf course.
Horrible Sceduling
Was supposed to tee off at 11:12, did not happen until 11:30. Was not done and home until after 5:00pm. Course was WAY over booked, nothing was done by staff to ensure people were moving at a good pace, two men in front of our group of 4 were slower than us which made us wait at every hole. Staff did not offer any assistance when realizing course was overbooked. Brutal experience.
great place, worth the trip from Toronto
I had a blast playing this course, it's a 9 hole course, and we got a deal for 18, I didn't mind playing the same 9 again, as there are blues, whites and also gold tees, aside from the women's red to choose from. Not to mention the most picturesque course I played this year.
Irek.
Not on a Saturday
We had a carted twosome booked for 18 holes (9 hole course x2) with an 11:30 t-time. We started at 11:45, not too bad, but finished the first 9 at 3:00. We waited every hole at least 5 -10 min. There were (4) groups waiting to t-off when we ready for the second nine. We didn't bother! We would have finished after 6:00. I got a good deal through Golf Now but it was not worth the aggravaton. I tried to re-book the 9 that was not played, but since it was booked through Golf Now, they would not honour another round at a later date.
Never again on a Saturday at this course.
better play in the weekdays
We hv to wait in every hole, took almost 6 hours to finish 18 holes, will never come during the weekend. Otherwise, everything overall is pretty good.
happy
a party of four golfers enjoyed the goft cource and the price.
Front desk lady was unfriendly
I had booked for 18 holes play with a cart through Golfnow. The lady disputed my cart and also the 18 hole play even though the cart was expressly mentioned on my receipt. The 18 holes play was not mentioned. I asked her to call Golfnow to confirm but she declined and in an unfriendly way asked me to go ahead while grumbling about Golfnow. Two young men who joined me with the same special had similar problem.
Golfnow needs to better identify the type of special on their receipt so we don't encounter such unpleasantness from irate front desk attendees.
Great Deal, Great Course
Golfed with my girlfriend and got paired up with an older couple. The pace of play was quite slow, but the course was in fantastic condition, as always. The greens were recently aerated so it was a little bumpy, but no complaints otherwise.
Great day of golf with the buddies
Very nice course. Challenging and scenic. Course is in excellent condition, Fairways and greens maintained. The greens were recently aerated, so the ball was a little bouncy, but still in great shape. If you are looking for a golf course in this area, this is the place to go.
River Edge
Outstanding condition. Very attractive course with good holes - reasonably challenging yet not overwhelming for average golfers. Although be sure to bring lots of balls!
Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a staff who cares about the course and the golfers. Highly recommend.
Little Gem
While some of the fairways are narrow, they make for an interesting mid range challenge. We did not have time to make it 18, but would have loved to go around again. Pace was slow but it was a lovely day.
Excellent 9 hole course
course in great condition -
7 th hole the challenge -very small landing area
with your tee shot with a carry over environmentally sensitive grasslands - suggest 3/4 wood
