RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

View of 9th green from the clubhouse Photo submitted by uOSGW5792OS on 09/21/2014
Situated along the Grand River Valley, it offers a quiet and tranquil setting with the periodic deer sighting.
Great little 9 hole course with narrow and tricky par 5, hole #8.
Fairways were wet and carts were not available in order to maintain the course condition......which makes sense. Pro Shop very accommodating and friendly
Course forces you to play a faily staight game. There is water & elevation changes.
First nine played whites & learned the course, second nine played Blue (longer) gives you a different look! actually played better from back tees. First nine course was backed up & waited on every tee box, second nine much better no waiting.
I would love to go back & play course again.
Great course; good value
It's a 9 hole course but always we'll maintained. When I play this course I alternate white & blue tees on the turn for variety.
Great track in the middle of Kitchener to spend 2 plus hours.. Great staff, great condition, shot making course.... Slainte
execellent... 9 hole track... Right off the 401 on old Hwy 8.. Not much time , thats ok play the 9 with lots of challenges...
A very nice and challenging 9 holes. A slow round but very green and well kept.

Nine hole course, well maintained.
Nine hole played twice, by myself so moved right along until rained out at the sixth hole on my 2nd. time around.
Always find hole number 7 a great challenge, need to have an accurate tee shot, and often a second well placed shot.
A hidden gem in KW area
Before you even pull up to the club house you will be struck with an awesome view of the entire course. But it doesn't end there. Each hole is unique, nestled in a valley along the Grand River. Although only a 9 hole course it can become quite interesting if you play Blue - White combo. This way the second nine is totally different than the front nine. Example is the sixth hole par three, from the whites 150 yrs, from the blues 213. The course conditions were great yesterday considering it is near season end. the greens fast and tricky to read as the break looks worse than actual. As you travel along the course, take time to look at the nature. A large variety of birds, crystal clear ponds with bass and carp. We even saw some new born turtles that were digging their way out of a nest in one of the bunkers. I wish I had my camera. Even though River Edge is a Golf North property the management appears to be spending money on the course to keep it maintained. I will play here again for sure.
Course was in Excellent Shape , great course for couples
We purchased 18 holes of golf and cart from golf now 2 pm tee we played the first nine from the whites tees and back nine from the blues , we walked off the final hole at 5.50 and stopped for refreshment and a hot dog which was delivered to us on the 2nd hole on the cross over. Staff where extremely helpful . course was marshalled and play was kept moving . Greens where not to fast but tricky. Course well laid out and some good challenging carries and elevations Noticed lots of couples . The course is tucked away in residential area surrounded by mature trees, major highways are close by, but no interfering noise. I will look forward to playing this course again
Good short course
Well maintained short course. A few holes are target golf. Greens are tricky and test your short game. Usually expensive for value. Do to high price, not many play, so you can get around quick.
