Nice Course!
Very nice course would definitely play there again
It's in great shape with the exception of the greens that were airarated
Good course
The course is good but the green is no good when I play
Great Course
Great things to say about this course. The staff was friendly and efficient. The views of the escarpment were lovely. The course had some nice long holes yet wasn't overly challenging. We were a twosome and managed to finish in 3 1/2 hours wow ! Will definitely go back.
GOOD OUTING FOR COUPLES
Played on a Saturday at noon, pace of play very slow - gave us time to visit.
Waited on every tee block and every shot from fairway - four guys in carts spraying the ball all over the course (very short course), looking for at least one golf ball on every hole, sometimes they were looking for four.
They also waited to hit second shorts on Par 5's that couldn't reach on their third shots - playing partners (Marshall) didn't seem to able to get them moving.
Great golf, slow golf
We booked a 1pm tee time on Ruby and got stuck behind a tournament that stopped for a 10 minute break after every 2 holes and wouldn't let us play through. Ruby was so backed up that other groups decided to tee off on Cobalt, which became backed up as well. The course was great, the staff was very kind and apologetic about our wait. I would play this course any time
Nice Course
Nice Course!
I would prefer a little more water hazard :)
Better Than Exoected
We teed off just before 8:00 AM and we finished at 11:45. Pace was excellent. Never waited nor did anyone wait for us even though my one son just started golfing this year. Course was challenging and in good condition. I look forward to returning.
excellent round
First time playing this local course and it definitely tests your skill. Great course conditions although some of the tee blocks were a bit dried out (it was late in the day).
nice course
Friendly staff, nice course, and cold beer. What more could you ask for?
Hot day
Course was in great shape greens very good some interesting holes #16 short but fun
great experience
I absolutely love this course. Greens are well maintained and at times quite challenging depending on pin placement. Fairways are soft enough to get an iron under the ball. The only negative about this course is a lot of "new to golf" golfers so keep your eyes and ears open.
This course has great layout
This course is great for intermediate golfers - the layout of few holes is quite challenging. Overall I found it great to play.
First time
Course was great and weather even better. Too many couples on fairway, very few foursomes making paly slow and frustrating.
Should not allow seniors walking during busy time
Lovely Course to play
Very nice course set at the foot of Escarpment. Lovely ambiance. Enjoyed playing on this course. However recommend better marshalling. Single walker player in front of us playing two or more balls slowed us down. We did not see the marshal come by so that we could ask him to stop the guy from playing more than one ball. Other than that we had a great day.
Granite
Great course and priced fairly. Great deals on golf now. My only criticism was the lack of marshals to help improve the pace of play.
Excellent
Have always wanted to try this course and finally did it. We played the Cobalt want a great
Course and in great shape. Will definitely be playing again soon.
Golf Course Condition
Granite Ridge Ruby is an excellent course for all levels of golfers. I was pleased with the course condition.
Good conditions but slow
I would have rated as 4/5 if not for the slow back nine. Ended up close to 5hr round for our fourball. Not the most interesting course due to its lack of maturity but at $50 all in with cart, great value for money. Greens were in great condition although a lot of people obviously not repairing their pitches, nothing unusual for a public course. Had a great time though, will be back
A great day, a great time. We even played 36.
Started with Cobalt course. In great condition. Greens good. Quick. Some of the greens had interesting breaks. Play slowed noticeably when the groups in front of us were pushing a father and his 3 young sons ( less than 12 ). Still finished at 4:20, so we decided to play another 18. Played Ruby. Nice course. Also in good shape. Shorter. A very enjoyable day. We will go back.
