nice course
Friendly staff, nice course, and cold beer. What more could you ask for?
Hot day
Course was in great shape greens very good some interesting holes #16 short but fun
great experience
I absolutely love this course. Greens are well maintained and at times quite challenging depending on pin placement. Fairways are soft enough to get an iron under the ball. The only negative about this course is a lot of "new to golf" golfers so keep your eyes and ears open.
This course has great layout
This course is great for intermediate golfers - the layout of few holes is quite challenging. Overall I found it great to play.
First time
Course was great and weather even better. Too many couples on fairway, very few foursomes making paly slow and frustrating.
Should not allow seniors walking during busy time
Lovely Course to play
Very nice course set at the foot of Escarpment. Lovely ambiance. Enjoyed playing on this course. However recommend better marshalling. Single walker player in front of us playing two or more balls slowed us down. We did not see the marshal come by so that we could ask him to stop the guy from playing more than one ball. Other than that we had a great day.
Granite
Great course and priced fairly. Great deals on golf now. My only criticism was the lack of marshals to help improve the pace of play.
Excellent
Have always wanted to try this course and finally did it. We played the Cobalt want a great
Course and in great shape. Will definitely be playing again soon.
Golf Course Condition
Granite Ridge Ruby is an excellent course for all levels of golfers. I was pleased with the course condition.
Good conditions but slow
I would have rated as 4/5 if not for the slow back nine. Ended up close to 5hr round for our fourball. Not the most interesting course due to its lack of maturity but at $50 all in with cart, great value for money. Greens were in great condition although a lot of people obviously not repairing their pitches, nothing unusual for a public course. Had a great time though, will be back
A great day, a great time. We even played 36.
Started with Cobalt course. In great condition. Greens good. Quick. Some of the greens had interesting breaks. Play slowed noticeably when the groups in front of us were pushing a father and his 3 young sons ( less than 12 ). Still finished at 4:20, so we decided to play another 18. Played Ruby. Nice course. Also in good shape. Shorter. A very enjoyable day. We will go back.
First ACE
Great course, in very good condition. Perfect day of golf, highlighted by my hole in 1 on Ruby #9. Wish every day was as enjoyable.
An enjoyable relaxing day
Played as a single with a young two-some and a walker so I had my own cart. Not much exercise but I have a broken foot, so it worked out well.
Greens in excellent shape, smooth but not super fast, and hold quite well.
Pace was also good, 4 hours, despite having a hard time finding the young fellas' balls on occasion, and the price was right - $38 taxes and fees all in.
Course has above average features
Challenging layout Course well maintained , with good variety of hole designs Scenic views near the Niagara escarpment Quality venue, above average
Fun to play , would definitely recommend it .
Nice course
The golf course is well maintained. The some greens are quite challenging and interesting due to uneven surfaces.
Very slow round
Granite Ridge is a great course. The price is reasonable (especially on GolfNow), conditions are always good, and the staff is friendly.
Unfortunately the pace of play is very slow. Our group teed off at 1:30 and finished at 6:45. That's not a typo. 5 hours and 15 minutes.
If you're planning on coming here make sure you don't have anywhere to be afterwards...
Great,challenging course
I thoroughly enjoyed this course but unfortunately the weather was cold-a terrible wind.Great scenery, very well maintained and friendly staff. The Pro shop had awesome golf wear! I definately will go back.Could you send me emails re promotions?
Thanks Lorna Leitch
Nice Course By The Escarpment
This is a nice golf course situated next to the Niagara Escarpment in Milton, ON making for a very picturesque setting with a real country feeling to it, conveniently located just a short drive from the Greater Toronto Area. The course conditions were good except for the greens which were not excellent but only likely due to it being very early in the season. We played the Blue-White hybrid which provided enough distance to make it challenging enough. There is plenty of water throughout the course and a few narrow driving holes which added to the fun of the day. The course is not overly long but requires you to be accurate throughout to score well. Many greens are multi-tiered requiring your putter to be 'on' if you want to score well here. I would return and recommend to a friend!
