Tucked away in the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Lowville Golf Club offers scenic views of the greater Toronto area. The layout blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, creating a picturesque golf setting that the Toronto Star's "Bogey Man" has touted as the most scenic in the area. The golf course has also received top honors from the same publication as the most improved club. This challenging, 18-hole course features several downhill tee shots that can really carry, making it a fun course for long hitters. Lowville Golf Club's 12th hole is notably entertaining. It is a long par-5 that requires a long carry off the tee to a tricky green.

This is NOT a 90 dollar course

First of all who pays 28 dollars for a cart. On top of 61 .50 for golf. Just a scam. Course was dry and greens did not hold. Elevation

Changes are a joke. Plays about 1000 yards longer due to severe uphill blind slopes. Putting is a joke. Have never seen uphill downhill side hill putts on almost every putt. There is not a flat lie on any fairway. I laughed that they quote a walking rate. That would be ok if you were a mountain goat. Played it once but never again.

Not what I’ve come to expect

Let me start by saying I’ve played Lowville MANY times as I live less than 10 minutes away. Always was a big fan. Well. Things have changed this year. 1) The fella in the pro shop was outright rude. Not friendly at all. 2) Twilight is no longer twilight. After 5pm it’s 11 holes. Ironic. That the marshal is not policing pace of play half as much as they were policing the 12th tee. All that said.... 3 tops the list. The single cart rate is $25 bucks + tax!!!! That’s ridiculous! It was expensive based on double occupancy at $20. If the carts gone for the round anyway what does it matter if 1 or 2 people are in it???? Really hoping things improve soon. For the record, still like the course.

Always a Good Round at Lowville

The undulation and overall layout make it a decent challenge, and some fairways can be tight, or a bit illogical necessitating smart golf over power, but the course is always in great shape, and I always have an enjoyable round playing it. It's light on the bunkers, which is great, and the vistas are phenomenal.
