Lowville Golf Club
About
Tucked away in the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Lowville Golf Club offers scenic views of the greater Toronto area. The layout blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, creating a picturesque golf setting that the Toronto Star's "Bogey Man" has touted as the most scenic in the area. The golf course has also received top honors from the same publication as the most improved club. This challenging, 18-hole course features several downhill tee shots that can really carry, making it a fun course for long hitters. Lowville Golf Club's 12th hole is notably entertaining. It is a long par-5 that requires a long carry off the tee to a tricky green.

Great greens and challenging tee to green
What a spectacular setting. The course was in excellent shape although a little dry due to lack of rain. The greens are undulating and true. A pleasure to play
Fun and Challenging
Overall a good course with lots of challenges. Good vertical relief with fairways going up and down. I used a pull cart so got way more than my 10,000 steps in on 18 holes, however, the distance between some holes is a long walk! Would use a cart if you are not up to the walk. There was quite a bit of maintenance going on during our round especially near a couple of greens. Thought this should have been done later in the evening . Overall conditions of the fairways and greens are very good though. Would definitely recommend this course.
Course in great shape
The views of the escarpment are poster like! Greens run true, fairways excellent shape.
Love loweville
Friendliest of staff.
Course was super well maintained. Greens running very smoothly.
Quite short but well looked after
First time playing, pace of play was fine for a Sunday afternoon, about 4.5hrs.
Quite hilly so definitely use a cart.
Bunkers were amazing, deep and soft sand.
Greens have a lot of break to them but they are true. A tad bouncy which makes them slow. Very well looked after though.
Appreciate the signage, some courses don't bother.
My favorite course in southern Ontario
Many times I’ve played lowville. Every time has been a blast. Great staff. Course is perfect for beginners and advanced players all around. The most scenic course I’ve ever played. Would strongly suggest this course to anyone who loves the sport
The course was in great shape, didn't have to wait at all on tee box, not pressed from behind..played the course in under 4 hours. Would highly recommend.
Always a Treat but Holy Maintenance Batman
Played this course a couple of times now. Really enjoy the elevation changes, views, and challenges brought by the elevation.
However, there was so much maintenance going on. Every hole it seemed. From brush trimming, mowing, bunker reconstruction, etc. Just seemed to never end. Maintenance carts driving every which way. There was always the sound of maintenance motors either very close by or in the distance.
Greens are a little behind on maintenance. Definitely a preponderance of divots and just some bare spots here and there. Seems like they're simply behind on maintenance. However, playing the course without the maintenance staff around, I don't mind that much. Great course to play otherwise.
I'll maybe take a break from this course while they get some of this sorted.

Course was in good shape. Some excellent views from the Escarpment. Didn't find the layout all that challenging.
