Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Turtle speed
This is a nice course for the price. Greens have lots of undulations. Some holes are quite gimmicky, but it is a fun course to play. There was one group holding up the 3 or 4 behind them, the Marshall came out once but did not do anything. So this one group ruined the pace of play for everyone.
Really good, we'll be back!
We were looking for somewhere new to play, And this was a place that I'd seen driving around the area, and it looked very promising. We booked a great deal on golf now, on a perfect fall day. We we're not disappointed. It's a lovely course, well-maintained and conditioned. The staff were great. The course guide is really helpful, as some of the holes are a little quirky, but not in a bad way. The only negative about the course was the condition of the sand traps. They didn't appear to be maintained, clearly didn't drain well, even though it hasn't rained in two weeks, and some of them were falling apart. If they could fix this the course would be almost perfect. It's a short course, but tricky, and with very small sloped greens. Don't be fooled by the length, you will have a challenging game.
Layout
Great layout, fairways are close. Green need work as it's not maintained, golf carts are Ellectric with no noise.
Lots of interest
Good first time outing and enjoyed first 12 holes then heavens opened!!! Great response from pro shop with 9 hole raincheck.
Great course
Short course but the par 3s are still a good distance...wife is just learning and the women's tees are 2000 less yardage which is good for beginners overall great course for 50$ with a cart!
Nice course
Nice place. If I got a deal I'd
play it again. Was quiet when we played so pace of play was not an issue. Course was in good shape and staff were friendly.
For 22 bucks it's not too bad
Pretty wacky course in some regards, with undulating greens some tight up and down fairways surrounded by woodland and water, definitely some blind shots even on the par 3 holes. Would reccomend for the price paid, nice scenery and worth checking out.
Greens were quite small, which didn't help given how hard and fast they were. Very tough to keep an approach shot on the green. Really like the water features one select holes, especially approach to almost "island like" green on the back 9.
Challenging back 9
Played this course with a buddy and had a great time. Staff was great and course marshal ensured an excellent pace of play. If your looking to really test out your carrying ability and accuracy the back 9 would be excellent to do so.
What a Challenge!
This course is not for the feint of heart! The hole layouts are tricky and the greens are fast and undulating. Some water comes into play on a number of holes. The more I play this course, the more I like it!
The course is very narrow with alot of unnecessary obstacles. The fairways and greens were in terrible shape for the most part, and the green were either extremely steep or dried out. I will never go back to this course nor will I recommend it to anyone. The only positve was the sceneary, and the lady at the front desk was kind. Other than that terrible.
Turtle Creek
I like this course and do well on it although a number of people find it difficult to play. A round goes quickly and very little waiting. I find it very good value for the money. If you haven't played it before look for the 10th and 13th holes to be challenging and intimidating but they are awesome if you score well
