About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

This course is very challenging especially #13.
I'm impressed with the layout of this course. Gives you an opportunity to use all clubs in your bag. Tight fairways and challenging greens, especially #13.
Challenging and Fun
I have driven passed this course for the last 3 years and finally was able to play it. It was all I expected it to be! Lots of fun - try it out!
Great Value
Great place to go play if you want to change things up. Friendly folks around the course and they seem to keep the course in good shape.
I would recommend and play this course again.
Terrible! !!
Went here for the first time. Will never go back. The course is an excellent example of how bad a course can be designed. The greens are tiny and not true. The fairways rock hard. I can go on and on but please for the love of God think twice before you play here. I'm not really the type to push my opinion on others but if you play here and think I'm wrong please tell me why.
Very challenging course
Very well laid out to present a challenge on every hole. Definitely want to go back and beat my round
First time
Really enjoyed this track. Quick round since its a little shorter than average. Beautiful layout. Few tough holes from green tees due to long carry over marsh. Will be playing this course more.
Tough Sloping Course
This course demands accuracy. If you are an accurate golfer you will score low. The course is super tight and the greens are so undulating that on a dry hot day the ball will roll right off the green. Putts are tricky even if you stick it close.
Okay if you have nowhere else to play
Based on the photo's posted on the website, I was expecting a much better course. The greens are so poor that they are rock hard and covered in weeds. Not impressed. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.
Ok course
The greens are challenging - never a flat putt, as most of the greens are either angled, or bubble shaped.
The pace of play was slow as there were no marshals, and the club house kept allowing groups of two instead of combining groups.
Other than that - it was a decent course - but I don't know if I will play it again.

Early Spring Conditions Were Great
Greens are undulating, no flat service. Like to visit this course during the summer to see all it's beauty.
Small Greens
This course is tight -- not in the shape that it should be for this time of year as the fairways had little grass -- the greens do not make much sense -- very small with most being on a down hill slope .
Short but difficult
Course in great shape.
However, carry on some shots was difficult.
Fall scenery was colourful.
Cart paths some oaved, other gravel
Good Value
Played this course for the 4th time, definitely in better condition then it was before. A lot of the tee's on certain holes are in dangerous locations (too close to other greens / drive across other tees) and some of the tees are confusing on which way you're actually supposed to tee off, not too mention there are 2 different white tee's on 3/4 of the holes on the course. Staff is very friendly, there was no cart chick but that's ok because I brought my own.
couse is relatively new
no proper club house yet , but course is kept in good shape ; greens are small but fast ; unless you can hit 200 plus yards off the tee , play the green/white hybrid tees , as holes 10 11 13 are really long carry from back tees .
Great value
course was difficult considering its not overly long. Lots of trouble, and very narrow in some spots. Few of the holes are "target golf".
Still great day, and good value for what we paid.

Great day for a round of golf at the last minute. The course is in great shape and very palatable.
Great Course
this course is both beautiful and challenging. The front nine and back nine have different personalities and are challenging in their own way. happy to recommend this course.
weird design
a few nice holes but some others were strange. lots of blind shots to trouble that should not be there. tiny turtle back greens
