About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

This Course is One of the Most Enjoyable to Play!
Silver Lakes Golf Course has it all!! Some challenging holes and greens, greens that run true, beautiful scenery, and excellent staff. The only reason the course conditions received a four rating is the course was very wet from heavy rains and being low land, fairway shots were extremely challenging with very wet lies. One of my favourite courses to play!!

Beautiful course, friendly staff
It’s a beautiful course. Pace was slow then marshal came over apologizing. Told us the frost in the morning causing the delay of playing, not any group holding up. It was very kind and nice to be informed. We didn’t expect to finish since it was a twilight rate we started at 2:10pm and with the slow pace, but we did finish 18 holes around 6:30. Saw the beautiful sunset on 18th hole! This is my favorite course this year!

Good overall experience
Course was quite wet as it's rained and course is very flat, water doesn't drain as well. People tend to take more divots when it's so soft. Divots are mostly repaired.
I love the layout, some challenging holes, not one dumb hole that I can think of. I recommend Silver Lakes

This course has the best conditions. Fairways are immaculate and greens are fast.

Silver lakes
Beautiful course fairways, greens and blocks in great shape. Due to covid no service on course , no ball washers at holes or on carts. Good assortment of golf shots needed, bombs, target, dog legs, water and greens are quick. Enjoyed it thoroughly!

Fantastic Track
I’ve played this course twice this summer. Both times the staff were friendly and helpful and neither round took 4 hours. The layout is tight, but fair, and the course was in great condition. The greens are fast and, more importantly, run very true. If I was looking for a membership north of Toronto, this is where I would join. Make the 45-minute drive from mid-town Toronto and you will not be disappointed.
