About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

overrated
The course is full of mosquitoes. Not much of any signs where to aim just plain old course with trees to the sides. Nothing interesting.

Keeping in well condition pace an issue
Condition is holding well. Pace of play is a problem here. Took 4.5 hours to finish. See marshal insight even when calling for him

Friday morning in August
The course is in great shape, greens are rolling nice and pin placements are a challenge. Nice thing the club has the cup caddies in place. No dry grass on the course and bunkers have sand that you can play out of. A great variety of beer and beverages from the cart staff. They are especially organized during COVID. Good course.

Great given recent weather
This was my first time playing Silver Lakes and the course was in great shape given how much rain we have had recently. They had pumps out working to drain fairways that had been overloaded with water, but we were still able to play every hole as it should be played and was thoroughly enjoyable!
Would return to play again.

Great experience, as usual
Being situated on the Holland Marsh, this course is always in great shape, but it's arguably the best conditioned course in the GTA at the moment. Excessive Heat and drought have wreaked havoc on some the best courses in the GTA this summer, but Silver Lakes is still lush with healthy rough, meticulous fairways and true and fast greens. Pace of play was just over 4 hours on a Saturday mid day tee time - excellent considering fully booked tee sheet. Play this course!
