About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Silver Lakes
We have played a couple other “upper end courses” on our staycation. This was by far in the best shape. Fairway divots were being filled and the greens were being taken care of.(by I assume golfers and staff). With covid like all courses I would suggest playing a course rule of dropping the ball in green side rough.

Booked as a single and was paired with a threesome who were very nice to play with. Played in 4 hrs 20 min which is very good for a Sat on a holiday weekend. Due to location of course -near Holland Marsh/River and r\ the lake course was wet in spots as it does not drain well. A very enjoyable round

confusion
i believe we paid for green fees and golf cart. we were told at the course we did not pay for golf cart. so, we walked. i believe they were wrong.
We understand that our head professional spoke to you on the phone and that some of the confusion stemmed from moving your tee time from a different day. Happy to hear from our discussions with our pro that you were satisfied in the end.
Good Course
Good time. Fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. Recent rains lead to lateral hazards (standing water) in the rough.

Great Value
Very nice course...a little complicated to find if you don't follow your GPS exactly. Make one wrong turn and you are backtracking quite a bit.
Thank you for taking the time to review our course. With the 404 extension in operation if you are coming from the east you can come straight up the 404 to Queensville. Turn left and head West until you hit old Yonge Street. Turn right and we are at the end of Old Yonge street. Hope to see you again soon.
Atrocious
Slow pace of play. Absolutely waterlogged. Mosquitos everywhere. Huge waste of time and money.
Call before you book
It has been a challenging weekend. If you live in the GTA I'm sure you got the significant rainfall we received Friday night.. It's unfortunate and very disappointing as the course was in magnificent shape prior to the 40 mm of rain. Pace of play with cart path only definitely increases. I am disappointed that you felt like it was a waste of your money. We are proud of our Score golf rankings of #5 in Ontario for best value the past two years and feel like under better weather conditions you would have seen the value yourself.
Amazing course
We were we happily surprised with the course. Fortunately we made the right decision coming here. We liked so much we booked a tee time for next week

Pace of play was slow have Marshall’s on course but did nothing . Wear pants when playing course lots of bugs and mosquitoes
