About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Not well maintained
Huge amount of leaves everywhere.
If u don’t land in the fairway, good luck finding your ball.
For $80 a round I expect a clean course.
Won’t play there again
Ok Mr. 100% fairway regulation.
May be you should get a life and stop reading people’s comments.
Leaves need to be blown away smart #$%*£
Maybe you should complain less and work on hitting your ball in the fairway more then. Golf courses have trees. Trees have leaves. Leaves fall off trees. It's nature. It is an absolutely fantastic course in wonderful condition.
Sorry to hear that you didn't see value in our course. We are curious as to what hole/holes you had leaves in play as the leaves have yet to start falling. Thankfully we are still a few weeks away from fall yet.
A little wet
Historically the coarse does not drain well. Many puddles and soggy areas on the fairways from the overnight rain, the greens were in excellent shape, divots were in the process of being repaired on the fairways.
Thank you for taking the time to review the course. After a spectacular summer the last two weeks of August and first two weeks of September have been rather damp. Thank you for noticing the efforts of our maintenance crew and hope that you played well.

Silver Lakes
We have played a couple other “upper end courses” on our staycation. This was by far in the best shape. Fairway divots were being filled and the greens were being taken care of.(by I assume golfers and staff). With covid like all courses I would suggest playing a course rule of dropping the ball in green side rough.

Booked as a single and was paired with a threesome who were very nice to play with. Played in 4 hrs 20 min which is very good for a Sat on a holiday weekend. Due to location of course -near Holland Marsh/River and r\ the lake course was wet in spots as it does not drain well. A very enjoyable round

confusion
i believe we paid for green fees and golf cart. we were told at the course we did not pay for golf cart. so, we walked. i believe they were wrong.
We understand that our head professional spoke to you on the phone and that some of the confusion stemmed from moving your tee time from a different day. Happy to hear from our discussions with our pro that you were satisfied in the end.
Good Course
Good time. Fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. Recent rains lead to lateral hazards (standing water) in the rough.
