About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Good Golf
A very enjoyable round of golf. Checked in early and was able to get our earlier than our scheduled tee time. Played
in 4 1/2 hours which for a weekend was good. Conditions of course were very good.

Very busy on this day however the marshals were able to keep the groups moving at a good pace without being pushy. In spite of the heavy traffic the course was in great shape, and we finished our round in just over 4 hours. Great day, great course, great staff!

Good track
It was busy, but the pace of play was good. Good course, challenging. Traps and fairways were in good condition. Greens weren't so green and a little bumpy...but they were quick.

Fun Course
Great track for a foursome with friends! Don’t let the lack of elevation trick you - there are lots of challenges here and especially off the tee - greens can be tricky to read too! Enjoy the great staff and super value of this course!

Great Challenge
Don’t be fooled by the lack of elevation of this course because it cleverly makes up for it. Challenges greens and tee shots that require thinking about appropriate landing spots! A fun course - perfect for buddies in a foursome!

Excellent day for first round of the year
The fairways were excellent. Greens were fast and looked like they were recently aerated. Weather was perfect. Overall a great day.

Course in pretty good shape!!
Course in good condition but the greens are bumpy though! Still enjoy the course a lot! Always challenging playing silverlakes

Tight fairways
Tees and fairways in great shape. Greens were punched a last week so should be rolling nicely by next week. Staff is friendly and courteous. Silver lakes is always a tough test. Tree lined fairways can ruin a good score in short order. Fun, challenging course with a beautiful setting.
Thanks for the review "kkooyca". Greens are coming around....we aerefied on Sunday April 29th. With the warm weather ahead the grass will be popping and in summer conditions in no time.

Great Course - Great Day of Golf
Of all the courses I've played recently, Silver Lakes stands out as a favorite. The weather the day I played was perfect, the grass was sticky and wet in a few spots, but otherwise conditions were great, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
The course isn't too challenging, although its no cake walk. The fairways at times are tight and the greens demanding, but overall, a really fun course, and a great day of golf.
This course is easily worth the 1h drive from Toronto. I'd happily recommend Silver Lakes to everyone!

Challenge your game
Silver Lakes is a nice course to challenge your game. I enjoyed the layout of the course with the water hazards and welcoming bunkers.
If you want to score well on this course you have to think your shot thorough instead of playing it instantly. The course is technical therefore an excellent way to challenge your golf.
There was no marshall so the pace of play could be an issue. The course was very wet due to a recent storm but I will be back once it gets warmer.
