Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club
About
Carved from 200 acres of mature forest along the Holland River just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club provides a scenic round reminiscent of those found in either Florida or the Carolinas. Neighbored by native wetlands, the golf course features water hazards on 12 holes. There are also treacherous, well placed bunkers coming into play on every hole. The par-3 third hole is notably challenging, in addition to being flanked by bunkers, it also requires a carry over a pond. Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club also features a unique seven-acre aqua driving range as well as three chipping and putting greens.

Great Track but Poor drainage
I've played Silver Lakes numerous times, I like it, tough for when you're not on your game, rewarding for when you are but my biggest issue with the course is the drainage or lack off. Any rain will lead to the course implementing cart path only rule, I'd rather walk when this is the case, walking up to your ball with 3 clubs in hand is not something I enjoy. This happens yearly... As i mentioned previously I like the course but try to avoid post rain storm and definately at regular rates.
If you haven't played the course.. you need to.
Challenging, picturesque, in great condition
Silver Lakes represents a really good challenge to golfers of all abilities - although it may be too punishing to wayward hitters.
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The course is a pleasure to walk or ride and presents beautiful scenery. I would definitely play it again.
Well worth the visit
Will definitely return for another game on our next visit to Canada.
The best burger at all of the golf course in Canada, well done.
Course plays quickly - very good marshalling.
Love the course but overpriced - since carts do not include GPS. Easy to walk and would love to have that option with GolfNow.
What a treat
Very nice course. We used the reward points and hot deal for a $28 bonus round on an excellent track. Greens were hard and fast and a draw really helps.
Never Disappoints
Have played here for a number of years and never had a bad experience here. Very good value on Golfnow, full rate not so much.
Best fairways i've played.Greens are in grest condition
Silver lakes is one of my favorite courses in the GTA,always in great shape and a nice layout.Staff is very friendly especially Freddie the marshall.Food is also great.
One of the better conditions for the last few years
Playing pace is good but still lack of marshalls to keep track at times.
