Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Great course
Course was in great shape, great layout even though it was extremely windy had a great time. Very nice club house. Would definitely play here again.
My favorite course in the Niagara Falls area.
This course has the best layout in the Niagara region. Lots of sand and water strategically located. Difficult but fair.
Top notch course in the Niagara Region
I frequent this course on GN every week. I love the level of service this course provides. The staff at legends are very professional and eager to assist you around the facility. This is my favourite course to play in my hometown. Both courses challenge your golf game from all levels and force you to select the right club with lots of trouble around the greens. Please make this course a MUST VISIT when you are playing in Niagara.
Beautiful scenery
Played Battlefield many times. It’s in perfect condition. Staff is very friendly and waitress was sweet and friendly as well.
The course is always fun to play
For the most part the course is fun, but the spring time is wet and needs some warm dry weather to dry up.
Windy ... but fun !
Battlefield is always a challenge on a nice day .. but this time of year with the wind, it is even tougher.
Course is always beautiful and in great shape, especially this early in the year. Love Legend on the Niagara.
Good conditions for this spring
Cart path only but that’s because the rough was soaked. Greens rolled nice and weren’t that soft.
Niagara Jewel
Very enjoyable course with many unique holes. Can't wait to play again....terrible spring made the course Garth path only.
Early season golf
Course is very wet due to recent rains. Cart Path only rule is justified but that doesn't make it an enjoyable experience. Adds time to the round, wet feet, ball plugging and lots of walking. Reason for lower than my normal rating.
Greens in great shape, sand traps somewhat crusty, fairway spongy but overall quite acceptable for this time of year..

Spring Golf conditions
Always enjoy playing this course! Terrible spring made the course very difficult to score well....no roll on most fairways and extremely windy.
Greens were great for this time of the year. Give it a couple more weeks to really enjoy the quality of this course!
Course was great....... Golf now policy not so much.
Rainy windy day. Hot deals have no cancellation policy. Course was in great shape considering the heavy rain it had on it. We were the only ones playing. I will NEVER book a hot deal that far in advance again. Two in our group quit after 9 holes.
Cold and Windy round
It was a cold and windy day to play, but we made the best of it. The tee boxes were being punched and hadn't been cleaned of the plugs, but they did move the tee's to clean areas. Shortened some of the par 5's which is probably why I shot 76. 42/34. Legends is an awesome track and I recommend it to anyone that likes a challenge. Cheers
Glad to hear you enjoyed Battlefield despite the cold temperatures this October. We have aerated a few tee boxes but as you mentioned we make sure they aren't in play.
