Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Legends does not disappoint
Battlefield at Legends has always been one of my favourite courses and this time out was amazing. With most of the courses in Niagara only concerned about greens and fairways Battlefield was completely lush and in perfect shape. My only concern is that being in a tourist area the off course amenities are a little expensive.
The Legends
Both battle field and ushers creek are great courses and are very well maintained. Lunch before the round was also excellent. All around good experience. Worth the drive from mississauga

Challenging but Fair
Lots of bunkers. More visually in play than physically. Layout very interesting. Will be a fun day...if you select the right tee blocks for your skill level!!!

Great conditions
The course was in great condition. The rough is thick so keep it in the fairway. Pace of play was also good and we finished in just over 4 hrs.

Try It; You’ll Like It!
Everything about this course is outstanding — greens, fairways, layout, and staff! The course is fairly long for seniors and women. I was hitting 3-wood into most of the greens. Fairways are wide, but there are lots of bunkers. You’ll have to think your way around this course!
Water only comes into play on two or three holes for seniors. Even though the large parking lot seemed very full, the course was surprisingly empty. Try it; you’ll like it!

Enjoyed the course
Battlefield is a wide open but long course especially for women. From the forwards you need to be able to hit a 200 yd drive on many of the Par 4's to have a chance to get to the green in regulation. The fairways are wide and forgiving and, although there are lots of bunkers, the sand is good and they are reasonable to get out of. If you are planning to play any of the Niagara Parks courses use Golf Now because the prices if you book directly with the course are ridiculously expensive. We payed $225 for 2 on Ussher's Creek booking with the course.

First
I've played Legends before but never the Battlefield course. Battlefield is more forgiving than Ussher's Creek but wide open so lots of wind. Course in excellent condition except bunkers could use more sand. Excellent staff including Bob the starter and the people driving the serving carts.
