About
The Ussher's Creek Course at Legends on the Niagara is one of two championship courses at this unique complex, which is also home to a nine-hole course and a unique, 3-acre, 18-hole putting course. The meandering creek after which the golf course is named, snakes through a number of holes, making pinpoint accuracy a necessity. The scenic layout, which borders the Niagara River, features tree-lined fairways and tall, thick fescue rough. There are also wetland hazards coming into play throughout. Doglegs, well placed bunkers, and prevailing wind are all challenging elements that come into play but generous fairways add a player-friendly touch to the Ussher's Creek course at Legends on the Niagara.

Slowest round ever
It took a us as a twosome 6 hours and 5 minutes to play 18 holes. Absolutely ridiculous
Perfect day
Showed up a little early as I normally do to take advantage of the range and short game facilities. Got off half an hour early as low turnout and played by myself Leisure pace throughout including a few "practice" shots. Caught up to group in front on 18th green (3.5 hours round). Course in great shape, fairways dry - lots of role, sand bunkers clean and maintained, greens excellent and consistent. Had one of my better rounds.
GREAT Day at Legends
Had a great day on the course. Played the Usshers Creek course. Greens were in great shape and everything was quite dry...a few wet spots but VERY good.
Greens rolled true and held approaches with ease. Bunkers were well kept and the fairways were firm enough to roll out as much as I've seen this year in Niagara.
Played in under 4 hours starting at 1:30pm...so quite the feat in itself.
Just a very enjoyable day and would recommend to anyone looking for a test but fair,
Great course but..
Pack your bug spray because I’ve played this course twice and loved it, but each time I’ve teed off around 7am the deer flies come out around 9 and bite like crazy. I really love the course and the greens are fantastic but I won’t be trying this course again for a long time. I’m sure battlefield would be the same as they are right next to each other
Enjoy playing golf under beautiful Canadian Summer whether.
We play this course a few times a season,, however it was the first time this year.
The fair way cognition is much nicer than the last year and the green condition is one of the best among the Niagara golf courses this year.
My wife and I enjoyed playing afternoon golf very much. Thank you for the good maintenance .
Great course...Great Value
Excellent course in great condition. The team does a great job keeping up with the maintenance of the course. True rolling greens, nice fairways and just an overall great experience.
Will be back to try Battlefield soon!
Ussher's is the Best COurse in Niagrara and Western New York
The folks at Niagara parks have done it again. In spite of our cold and wet Spring and early Summer, Ussher's creek was in peak form. The greens were quick and they held shots perfectly. The rough was up and the fairways were in great shape.
This is a tough course that rewards good shots and punishes badly executed ones. I love it and will continue to play at Ussher's regularly.
Nice condition , overbooked
Course is I. Great condition. Greens are fast,fairways tight and plush. However it was extremely overbooked. 3hr 45mins for NINE!!!
No Marshall cruising around, it was very aggravating.
Terrible
Had to wait 20 minutes on each tee because they let drunken groups of 5 and 6 people play the same hole
Only managed to play 8 holes before we went inside to ask for a rain check
Two groups in front of us left before we did
Golf course refused to give us anything because we booked it through golf now
We drove one and a half hours to play 8 holes
Spent a half hour trying to reason with them in the pro shop but fell on deaf ears
Unacceptable
Perfect facility
We played early Friday and went back out in the afternoon. 8 guys for a golf weekend. Both courses provide a great challenge and variety. If you played in southern Ontario this summer you know it’s wet. These courses are not considering. Greens are quick(not lightening) and in great shape. Rough was tough in spots. Clubhouse is awesome. Great food and friendly staff. Will be back for a 7th time soon.
seniors should be allowed to re-schedulek when cart path only rules apply - too much walking for us to go to balls away from cart path making it too long a round
This course was extremely wet
This course was extremely wet. Numerous areas of standing water. No drainage at all.
Dry considering all the rain
The course was not too busy and we finished our round in under 4 hours.
The tee blocks and greens were excellent. The fairways were very dry considering all of the rain that has fallen.
Consider the replay rate when going here. Unbelievable value.
