About
Willodell Golf Club of Niagara is neighbored by Lyon Creek to one side and Tee Creek to the other. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature trees, which border the undulating fairways. Several ponds and two creeks come into play on 10 holes. There are numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with in addition to the water hazards. The layout features a mix of driving holes, strategic holes, and some tough par 3s. Being so diverse, the golf course appeals to a range of different skill levels and tastes. The fifth hole is Willodell Golf Club's most difficult par 3 with trees right and left and a frontal bunker that forces a full carry to the green, which is also bunkered on both sides with grassy lateral hazards that sit beyond the sand.

Well maintained fairway and greens
Nice golf course ! Easy enough off the tee's, and we'll maintained greens
Excellent course
First of all, the weather was excellent, and once we arrived at the course pro shop, personnel and starter were very friendly and accommodating. The course was an excellent condition. We will be back to play it again this year.
Fun but repetitive
Willodell is full of very straight, medium to long holes with little character. Great full sized course for beginners or someone looking to have a relaxing golf day with few challenges. Greens are slow to slow medium pace (when compared to other courses in the area). If all you do is play par 3 courses and you are looking to try a big course, this is a great stepping stone.
Nice Course
We walked the 18 holes- it has very little hills and a straight forward layout. Wide fairways with mature trees. Great burgers in the halfway house. Definitely going back. I saw some nice merch in the pro shop.

I have not ever been a member, but have golfed at Willowdell many times per season, for years. The greens are some of the best in Niagara and the price has always been reasonable. Booked my round yesterday through Golfnow the night before. There were open tee times on either side of my booking, most of the entire day seemed available. We arrive at the course, 20 minutes prior to our team time and see 8 golf carts gathered up on the first tee. Find out it’s men’s league that runs all day, to over 100 golfers. 3 groups go out ahead of us, 2 groups of 5, 1 group of 4, the started says to us, “good luck, these guys don’t have a clue what they are doing and seem to want to chat more than they want to golf”. We followed this parade for 8 holes. Sat a minimum of 7 minutes between EACH shot. Coming around 7 and 8, I noticed there was no one on the back nine, so these three groups had created such a gap there was no one to be seen. I mentioned this to the on course Marshall, “well, it’s men’s league, should never book a time on a Thursday”. After 8th, I skipped 9 and 10, jumped onto 11, smooth sailing rest of the way. Never did catch the group infront of us. 2hrs 40 mins to play 8. 1 hr 15 to play back 8. Moral of story, this course prefers to be a little local course that caters to their league players and members. Who knows, if my experience had been good, I may have purchased a membership. If you enjoy a 6 hour round of golf, great course to play. Not for me though

Nice track and fair test.
Friendly staff and very accommodating. Greens in good shape considering this early in the season. Good test playing longer than you think..
good price for green fee
Green fees are good. Be aware cart fees are $25/person. Not electric cart and not a fancy cart at all. Other than that courses are in fair condition.
Getting beter everyday !!
I have been very impressed with the conditions at Willodell this yr. The greens have never been better and the overall course is fantastic esp for the price. One pt of concern would be some of the tee boxes are in bad shape but that can be fixwd easy enough . Well done staff
Course was dry
Pace of play was good, but for the price NF has much nicer courses
