Willodell Golf Club of Niagara
About
Willodell Golf Club of Niagara is neighbored by Lyon Creek to one side and Tee Creek to the other. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature trees, which border the undulating fairways. Several ponds and two creeks come into play on 10 holes. There are numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with in addition to the water hazards. The layout features a mix of driving holes, strategic holes, and some tough par 3s. Being so diverse, the golf course appeals to a range of different skill levels and tastes. The fifth hole is Willodell Golf Club's most difficult par 3 with trees right and left and a frontal bunker that forces a full carry to the green, which is also bunkered on both sides with grassy lateral hazards that sit beyond the sand.

Well maintained course.
A midrange course with some challenges, but lots of wide open fairways.
Great course for a relaxing round of golf.
Staff very friendly and accommodating
Would recommend to play here.
Nice course but....
If you have more than 5 hours to spare this is the course for you. I know it was Father's day weekend, but a foursome with Carts should not take 5 hours for 18 holes.
We started over 20 mins after our scheduled tee time anyway, the course itself was in good condition, fair tee boxes, great fairways, and even fast greens. I won't be rushing back to this course I'm afraid.
great course
Nice greens great condition
Tight fairways lots of trees
Good Course
First time played. Very enjoyable despite slow play due to a tournament ahead of us.
Our round
For the money its a fantastic course. I'll be walking it next time as its a very bumpy cart ride. Green condition wasn't great but it's still very early in the season. I'll be playing here again later on in the season
Enjoyable Surprise
Course in better than expected condition considering the spring weather. Course Dry and Greens quick. Staff very accommodating.
In great shape for early spring
Greens in good shape, fairways in very good condition.
Nice place for cost.
Nice course it's a mid class But very nice. It's not grand Niagara but i would defiantly play there any time
The course is well maintained.
While the course is fairly new & well maintained it just wasn't my cup of tea. There are some holes on the front 9, short par 4's which I found stupid.
Always enjoyable Willodell
Willodell is always nice and green. Par 5's are scorable and some tougher Par 4's and 3's make it a great course. Some narrow fairways guarded by the tree line make straight drives a must. Played in under 4 hours Sunday morning. Course was wet but we knew that going in.
golfer freindly
front nine fairly open with some nice holes greens put true. back nine a bit tighter with some blind tee shots over all nice course and we will play again
overall a good course
be prepared for the bumps in the fairway. the cart ride was interesting, almost lost my bag off the cart from the bumps. Only negative id say was the people on the course that day.......our group had 4 balls whistle by us with no warnings...... the course could use a little more cover or trees in some spots
Water Logged
The Course was in poor shape when I played it on Friday. The water had yet to drain from the Course, and carts were allowed on.
Fast play and nice staff
Starter let me go at 11th tee to get in the game asap, which was nice. Very convenient. Course is pretty easy and in good condition. Greens were aerated but playable. u
Very good value and variety of holes
The course conditions were very good however due to the aeration of the greens the putting was a challenge
Great natural layout
At this time of year it is possible to play through some fall
maintenance issues. The greens were Punched and
Top-dressed making putting difficult.
tight fairways and slopping greens ...fast
This course has practice area, good fairways and pretty good greens ,you must be able to place your tee shot correctly because slopping fairways on some holes. The beer girl is around quit alot to keep you hydrated.
The greens were well maintained and quick.
The course was in good shape, however it was very full which led to a slow round.
Interesting
Willow Dale is an interesting course and is well maintained. The rough could be a little shorter so golfers wouldn't have to be looking for balls.
Challenging to all levels of skill
I have played here numerous times in the last few years , and the course seems to get better everytime I play. Well bunkered and tree lined to make shot placement and course management key in the way that you approach each hole. Well manicured fairways, fast greens and well maintained bunkers. A must play if you get the opportunity!
