Overall, the course was good for an older mature course. Greens are a good size and in good shape. Biggest complaint is the fairways are VERY bumpy which made for an unpleasant power cart ride. The back 9 is far more interesting than the front 9.

Course was very nice and well kept. Staff was very friendly. The only this that was a little bit of problem is that the holes are very close to other tee offs.

Fair but difficult course .... cant wait to play it again ...

The course was manageable...Not too easy nor not too long..
Price was reasonable...Greens were is great shape...
Had a lunch special in the clubhouse for about 8 dollars..
Overall, I would consider this course on a regular basis...

Course was a little busier than most times due to members appreciation day. It still was not bad. Greens were in good shape.

Willowdell is a magnificent golf course. We played on a hot, muggy morning starting on the back 9. The course was in superb condition, the pace of play was crisp and the layout was a good challenge. Bunkers are few but smartly-placed. Water hazards are numerous but will only eat up wildly errant shots. It is a generally flat course that takes advantage of natural undulations in terrain to keep you on your toes. This is a must for any players visiting the Niagara Falls/Welland area.

Staff was friendly and prices very good and and the course was in very good condition and would play it again if the price was right.

it seems the course was over booked. we had to wait at every hole and every shot, you loose your concentration always waiting

Solid course, not long but challenging. Greens are in very good condition and pace of play is 4 hours on a weekend

Had a good time at Willodell, greens were in excellent shape and were very challenging. Fairways were in good shape, rough wasn't thick so even if you didn't hit the fairways or your ball rolled off it was find-able. Great value for the money spent.

The course was in great condition from tee to green. There are many tee off blocks making the course play from 5258 to 6724 yards, accommodating all skill levels.

We particularly enjoyed holes 14 -18 that follow the creek. All these holes have wonderful elevation changes and some blind tee / approach shots that are even more enjoyable from the back tees.

There's not much level ground around this course, which is especially noticeable when riding in a cart. Many fairways have mounds everywhere which makes for a very bumpy ride. If someone has back problems, they might want to bring some extra cushion, or simply be better off walking.

This would be a very easy course to walk because the holes are close together. Because of this a stray tee shot can easily end up in another fairway.

The pace of play was quite slow for a Tuesday and would've liked to see a marshal around telling one foursome in particular to speed up or let people pass.

Willodell is a nice course and a good value from golfnow.
I would play again.

Fairways were well maintained, greens were perfect & the pace of play was good too. Would definitely recommend this course to friends and hopefully will get another chance to go back this year.

Originally could have been slow, but a 4some let us through on the front nine and we breezed through after that in just under 4 hrs - not bad for a Sunday. The greens were perfect and true and the bunkers were consistant. As one reviewer said - "a bomber's delight" - as long as you hit it straight, but if your game is a bit off, there are just enough trees to keep you honest. All in all, a fun little course.

Booked as a single and was hooked up with a threesome consisting of a gentleman and his two grandsons. The kids could really hit the ball and had me wishing I was younger. Fairways, rough and greens well maintained.

Great day on the links with the whole family. Would recommend Willodell to anyone wanting to get out with the family.

This course is well maintained and has beautiful fairways and trees. Nice mixture of par 3's and 5's with bunkers and water hazards. Quite enjoyable.

It was very enjoyable playing this course for the first time. The par 3's are not the easiest as bunkers protect the majority of the pins - all very challenging to par.
The course is set up nicely with equal left/right dog legs. Trees can play a major part in one's score should you have a tendency to spray the ball. Definitely challeging enugh!
Overall, the green fees are fair even at the regular rate. Using Golfnow.com to register T/T, the track is really a 'must to play'.
Clubhouse is super great for the 19th. All staff were extremely accomodating/super friendly. I will definitely return.

Nice course if you like the driver.
