About
Willodell Golf Club of Niagara is neighbored by Lyon Creek to one side and Tee Creek to the other. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature trees, which border the undulating fairways. Several ponds and two creeks come into play on 10 holes. There are numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with in addition to the water hazards. The layout features a mix of driving holes, strategic holes, and some tough par 3s. Being so diverse, the golf course appeals to a range of different skill levels and tastes. The fifth hole is Willodell Golf Club's most difficult par 3 with trees right and left and a frontal bunker that forces a full carry to the green, which is also bunkered on both sides with grassy lateral hazards that sit beyond the sand.

Haven’t played here in a few years fewer tee times on Golfnow than in past.
Good deal for round but carts pricey compared to most other courses
Was in pretty decent shape overall greens were very good
Weather was ok and course offers a good variety of holes
Overbookied
This course was way over booked. It took 3 hours to finish 9. We were supposed to 18 but when we got to 10 there were 3 groups waiting to tee off so we called it. The Starter had no idea what he was doing and the Marshalls didn’t say a word to anyone about rate of play. And waiting all that time there was no beer cart.

Whoever took over the care for the greens should be commended.

I enjoy playing willodell. It is a good course to walk and well worth the money

I lived in Niagara Falls in the 80's and still try and get back from time to time. I was a member at Willodell for 5 years. It is still a great track. We got a hot deal, which made the day even better.

Overpriced Carts
Willowdell is the most expensive course for carts. They charged us the full amount individually even though it was shared usage of the cart. Course is in good condition but the layout is a little too tight around certain holes. Members are often forcing others to move faster in order make their game convenient. Finished our round in 3 hours and 15 mins because we kept being compelled to mover faster than pace of play.

Great value for the money!
The course was in very good shape and was enjoyable to play. The back nine is considerably more interesting than the front nine and I’d definitely return to play.

Challenging but fair
Great course. Firm fast greens, well maintained. Bunkers need new sand. Overall great value! $80 tax in for 2 on golf now.
SLO, slow day
I have played this course many times and had good and bad experiences. Booked last minute on a hot deal for my son and I. Was a good price. Took almost 6 hours to play 18, had to wait to take every single shot. Seemed to me the course is making up for lost time, taking all comers, tee time or not. Saw beer cart once, parked, never moved. Came back around, gone. Long round to not have refreshments. Do better!
