About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Immaculate greens
First time playing this course. Well laid out. Greens were nicely groomed !
Only bad pet is the helicopters that circle all day long! Very annoying
Amazing
Amazing course, always wanted to play here since I was a kid and finally was able to. This course is fun but very challenging as it's very long holes. See you guys next year
Whirlpool continues to shine!
For a cloudy morning surprised that there were not more golfers out. This is one of my favourite tracks in the Niagara Region. It is a Stanley Thompson désign that is fair for all category of golfers. The greens were relatively fast and well manicured as were the fairways and traps. There are no quarky holes rather thoughtfully crafted holes expected of a Thompson course. Greeeting by the Pro was a nice touch and the employees were courteous and friendly. Would definitely play this track again.
Nice course
The oldest course in Niagara Falls is in good shape ,not much in the way of heavy underbrush if you head into the trees . Enjoyed the round , would play again if we are in the Niagara area. Had lunch afterwards, very reasonably priced for Niagara Falls.

Still nice to play in Niagara....most fairways soaked from heavy rain 2 days earlier....no roll on anything...:)
Men ...Women....fix your ball marks on the greens!!!

Enjoy the fall golf
Nice course but over booked.
This was a nice course unfortunately it had rained the night before and rained while we were golfing, so it was quite wet. I’m sure it is very nice under better conditions. The course seemed to be extremely over booked. When it came time for or booked tee time there were two other groups already on the first hole and another group behind us waiting to tee off. We were a twosome riding and the starter rushed out to tell us there was a foursome walking going out in front of us.
There was also no beer cart on this course.
Overall nice course just very slow.

This is an amazing course all4 of oyr group 1st time playing will absolutly go back again course was in great shapr and the greens were fantastic would highly recommend this course to anyone got it on golf now hot deal for 53 dollars aguy
This course is one of the best maintained in Ontario
The condition of the course was up to their excellent standards and did not disappoint us. The par 4's are very challenging, especially those into the wind. Take an extra club on all the elevated greens except 18.
Easy to find . Great restaurant
Great midday morning golf. Beautiful course. Was paired up with Two young gentleman that we shared laughs with. Was a great time all around.
Mid afternoon lunch on the patio was beyond what you would expect for a golf course. We will return just for dinner. Great food and pricing. With access to trail system across the street and plenty of parking this is a great location to access the Niagara trail system.
