About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Still nice to play in Niagara....most fairways soaked from heavy rain 2 days earlier....no roll on anything...:)
Men ...Women....fix your ball marks on the greens!!!

Enjoy the fall golf
Nice course but over booked.
This was a nice course unfortunately it had rained the night before and rained while we were golfing, so it was quite wet. I’m sure it is very nice under better conditions. The course seemed to be extremely over booked. When it came time for or booked tee time there were two other groups already on the first hole and another group behind us waiting to tee off. We were a twosome riding and the starter rushed out to tell us there was a foursome walking going out in front of us.
There was also no beer cart on this course.
Overall nice course just very slow.
Whirlpool golf course
This is an amazing course all4 of oyr group 1st time playing will absolutly go back again course was in great shapr and the greens were fantastic would highly recommend this course to anyone got it on golf now hot deal for 53 dollars aguy
This course is one of the best maintained in Ontario
The condition of the course was up to their excellent standards and did not disappoint us. The par 4's are very challenging, especially those into the wind. Take an extra club on all the elevated greens except 18.
Easy to find . Great restaurant
Great midday morning golf. Beautiful course. Was paired up with Two young gentleman that we shared laughs with. Was a great time all around.
Mid afternoon lunch on the patio was beyond what you would expect for a golf course. We will return just for dinner. Great food and pricing. With access to trail system across the street and plenty of parking this is a great location to access the Niagara trail system.
BEST COURSE IN NIAGARA
I always look forward to playing at Whirlpool. The course is always in top condition and we played 18 holes in 3 hours 28 minutes...
Stanley Thompson Does Not Disappoint!
Really liked the course, the conditions the staff and the clubhouse. Only issue was constant helicopter traffic flying over the course. Probably one every 3-4 minutes from 10am to noon. The winds picked up and I think the helicopters were grounded for our back nine. Serenity was much appreciated. Recommendation: play when it’s too windy to fly passenger helicopters!
Whirlpool is Awesome
I love this golf course. It is challenging but it rewards good shots while punishing bad ones. It is a great design and a great value. Niagara Parks may run the best Munis in the world with Whirlpool, Ussher's, and Battlefield.
In short, get here and play.

Always meeting nice Americans....course is forgiving but also has it's challenges....
Worth the 60 minute drive from Burlington when the 'Hot Deal' is right...
Noisy Helicopters
Don't know about you guys but I visit golf courses to escape noise.
This place has helicopters roaring around doing sightseeing trips.
Someone told me the trips are 10 mins duration so it was constant.
We couldn't get food after our round as they have decided to be a wedding venue rather than a golf course!
I suggest there are betterr choices for a nice quiet round and a post round meal & beer.
Played with a nice gentleman
+5 hour 18 hole round
Terribly Slow, they allowed a fivesome to play in front of us. The pace of play ruined the experience. I will not go back.
Great Course But Wet
Whirlpool is a great course and is comparably well maintained with friendly staff etc. Greens are in very good shape. Given amount of rain received this week along with additional watering, golfers should note many holes have wet areas. Casual water relief drops were taken throughout the course.
