Rolling Meadows Golf and Country Club

Good deal with a cart. Back nine a nicer layout than front 9. Rated staff Fair as we only saw the proshop and a starter. No marshalls or drink cart mid afternoon.

Nice greens and wide fairways mostly. Seems like a great course for twilight golf. We were not waiting much or being waited on, but round was longer than expected.

Fun afternoon on a nice course.

Waited about 40 minutes after tee time to actually tee off. Once teed off it took about 3 1/2 hours to do 9 holes. Total round length end up being around 5 1/2 hours, which isn’t right for the length and cost of this course.

in May you should be doing everything one could to get a course ready for the season. Weeds, weeds and more weeds. In bunkers (that were clay), in the parking lot, everywhere. No flowers, nothing. Greens ok. A first impression is what it is all about. Other courses are controlling weeds so why can't you. This course used to be decent but pure laziness is unacceptable. It is worth $30 (with a cart; which also stalls). Groundskeepers need some education on horticulture.

Greens in good shape rough is really thick. Need a cut stay in fairways

The fact that they were aerating was not advised when booking is an irritant. Had we known would not have booked. Half of the greens were covered with sand that had not been spread into the holes. We got to play 16 holes only because they were closed for aerification.

Starter put us with a couple who were not players creating a backlog where members began driving around our group.

Course is in excellent shape especially for this time of yr. Pace of play was very good

Although it is not our regular course to play we always enjoy playing here when we can.

The course is in pretty good condition, no significant wear and tear after a summer of active play. The best and hardest part are the greens. Great shape, running true but tough. Lots of undulations. Poor read or putt means another stroke, maybe two. Got to keep your mind on the game! White tees at less than 5900 yards may sound a bit short but as a par 70 was plenty for me.
