Terrible Tee Boxes
I have golfed here for many years. As of the last few seasons, the tee boxes are mangled and uneven. The ball is constantly above or below your feet. As well the bunkers are pretty much clay. Yes it’s early but this is the norm even mid season. I find it terrible that these type of courses charge top dollar for sub-par standards. Take into consideration before paying $70 this season.
Not worth what they are charging.
Rolling meadows is ok, not worth what they are charging now the last couple years. It has a very slow pace of play - at least 5 hrs and the bunkers are in horrible condition. For what they are charging I expect better. You can get much better value for your money elsewhere. I was charged for an extra person by the staff and had to fight with them to get it refunded. I won’t go back.
Good layout.
The layout of course is great. Overall greens and fairways are in good shape for this time of year. The tee boxes are in rough shape. Pace of play was very slow for first 10 holes. No Marshall. Lots of repair work being done and some holes were affected. Staff is always friendly.
Fourth time playing here…
Twice (the first, wrote it off as a one-off, and the most recent) out of 4 times I’ve started 20-30 mins late for my tee time due to disorganization even though I was there 45mins to an hour early. Caused me to have to leave on hole 16 to make my other commitments due to the slow pace of play. Unfortunate but if this is consistent I won’t be back.
Greens punched
Courses should discount a course after greens get airated. Sadly they do not.
Good course, a step away from great
A good course with some challenging holes. Fairways and greens are in good shape but the tee blocks need immediate upgrades. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
