About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Terrible customer service
Ridiculous service behaviour. Was sworn at by the starter, and very aggressive when directions were being followed. Ruined the mood for the day.
Great track!
Course was great considering we had a lot of rain the night before. Got on quickly and barely saw another person the entire round.
Great day out!
Lacking in some key areas
Firstly our cart ran out of battery around the 11th hole. It would go if it was flat at about 0.25 mph but if there was a hill...no chance. Called the clubhouse twice, nobody answered so we resorted to help from the guy we were playing with to give us a 'boost' up the hills. Very short course with a lot of quirks and tricks, tees were beat up but the greens were in OK shape for a mid afternoon round on a daily fee course.
Thundering Waters
A very enjoyable round. The course was in excellent condition except for the sand traps.
Slack dump
Close the doors and build more homes. Course is too cramped, no Marshall's keeping pace of play reasonable. It's a goofy layout, Bunkers are unplayable. Horrible experience
Just fill in the traps
For over 5 years the traps have next to 0 sand in them. Just fill them in. This course disgusts me on trap maintenance.
This WAS the nicest course in Niagara
Everything was good except the traps. They were as hard as rock and thin. I remember pre covid that they took care of the traps adding sand when needed. As a premium course I expect better. When the dump (Garden City) has traps where you can play out of and you don't. It is just sad. Piles of sand located at the course does no use if it does not make it to the traps. Kung Fu fans you will not see my footprints in some of those traps, amazing.
Pleasing to the eye
Highly recommended. I’ll be back!
Great Round
We thought the course was challenging and made you think each shot. The course was overall in great shape. We will be back.
