Batteaux Creek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the scenic Georgian Triangle, Batteaux Creek Golf Club stretches across 250 acres of rolling hills that are sprinkled with lakes and ponds. The challenging, 18-hole links layout has many risk-and-reward opportunities that appeal to players of all skill levels. The greens are undulating and quite large, allowing for numerous ball placement choices, and the landing areas are generous but the middle is not always the best shot. There are bentgrass fairways and numerous bunker’s strategically placed throughout in addition to the water hazards. One of Batteaux Creek Golf Club’s most interesting holes is the par-5 17th, which is a dogleg left that features a pond on the left that filters into a creek that then crosses the hole diagonally from 150 yards in.

Course was in great condition
Thoroughly enjoyed our day on this course. Very slow due to being a Tuesday as they have special rates on Tuesdays, so check with Club before using any online sites.
Great Layout
First time playing this course near Collingwood and
will make this the course our first choice in future trips to Collingwood. Every hole has a unique challenge - very well designed and good views of surrounding mountains.
slow play
Tuesday was a good day to play price wise, however it is ladies day and the pace of play was extremely slow. The course was in fantastic shape and is my favorite course to play when I get up to Collingwood
Wow, Great Course.
From tee to green - excellent condition. This is an upper scale course. The only disappointment, and it's too bad I have to mention this - we played on Canada Day - no welcome "Happy Canada Day" on check in, no Red and White attire - where's the Patriotism? Management please take note. Otherwise, this course is a treat to play. As a 15 handicapper, I would recommend to play from the Yellow Tips as just over 5,900 yds is plenty. Whites are over 6,300yds.
Great Course
Batteaux Creek is a hidden gem, if your looking for a place to escape and play a great course this is it. even if you're just interested in the view i recommend. I'm a 7 handicap and played the championships with one of the members and enjoyed every min. the course has generous fairways and large greens, which rolled nicely. Will play again.. soon
Good value for money
Batteaux is an excellent course and always enjoyable to play as the fairways are in great shape and the greens true.
Nice day of golf
They seemed kind of surprised to see me but did fit me in.The corse was in great shape and staff was super friendy
Nice Layout
Played after a lot of heavy rain the day before, but course drained well and only a few soggy spots, though greens were very good.
Good test from the whites, challenging, yet interesting,
with no two holes the same.....very enjoyable.....and I'm going back.......on a drier day.
Good golf good pace of play
As a semi private course Batteau Creek provides an excellent venue for the experienced golfer and beginner alike.
Batteau Creek is frequented by experienced golfers that self manage an excellent pace of play. We were able to get in 18 holes in about four hours.
Although the course could use a cart girl and a course Marshall, they were not necessary for our day on the links.
I would highly recommend this track to anyone and that was an intermediate too experienced golfer.
It may not be suited for the beginner player.
Lots of sand and water
The fairways are generous, but beyond that "bring lots of balls". The greens are well kept.
The rain came and left..the wind stayed
Excellent facility..great people..will return asap
Nice lay out
Great golf course near Colligwood. Excellent ratio quality/price. The personal are very Friendly. The course was in excellent condition.
Somme holes are vert challenging.
Worth to Try thaïs course
This is a great course but needs a little work
Greens need to be cut very slow, also fairways need a little work. Other than that this is a very nice layout, also it has 5 tee decks, the forward tees still give you about a 6000 yard course so quite a challenge for seniors like me. The course condition was average when we played on May 19th, last year this course was
excellent, will play it again next month and it should be better with the warmer weather.
always in great shape
Course was very firm, greens were at a nice speed cant complain i would deffinatly recommend this course to anyone.
links outing
we enjoyed our afternoon. The course requires straightness off the tee. 5 tee choices make the length appropriate for your skill level. Good conditions, but the green speed was slow. Clubhouse is spartan, but the draught beer was fine and we could sit outside.
Nice course with challenges
Very nice test of golf, always enjoy this course. Staff very friendly.
My favourite course!
I find this to be a premium course with great value for the money! The clubhouse facilities are decent but not spectacular. The course and practice facility is great! It's very walker friendly, and the different tee decks really change the holes! Nice large greens. Very well maintained. Bunker sand has been improved this year. Staff is very friendly and work hard to make the experience memorable!
Course in great shape for fall golf.
Recommend not using a power cart if it is cart path only. The fairways are wide and the cart GPS not always reliable. It is a very walkable course with great views.
GREAT
Batteaux Creek is a great course, great views very well maitanied, very playable yet challenging. You will definately enjoy your day there. I have played it multiple times and will continue.
Our personal favourite!
Love this course - the layout, the staff and the pace of play is always great!
