About

Holes 18
Type Private
Par 72
Length 7003 yards
Slope 140
Rating 74.1

Situated amidst the scenic Georgian Triangle, Batteaux Creek Golf Club stretches across 250 acres of rolling hills that are sprinkled with lakes and ponds. The challenging, 18-hole links layout has many risk-and-reward opportunities that appeal to players of all skill levels. The greens are undulating and quite large, allowing for numerous ball placement choices, and the landing areas are generous but the middle is not always the best shot. There are bentgrass fairways and numerous bunker’s strategically placed throughout in addition to the water hazards. One of Batteaux Creek Golf Club’s most interesting holes is the par-5 17th, which is a dogleg left that features a pond on the left that filters into a creek that then crosses the hole diagonally from 150 yards in.

Tough but fair

This course has been a favorite (when not playing mine) for years. Always kept in great shape and greens fast for semi private course. Fairways are wide but the errant shot will find creek or bunkers. One of the better courses in area.

Love the amount of water to challenge one's own course management

A friendly staffed, challenging course, reasonably priced with plenty of course management required.

Very Good

I have played this course a few times over the past 5 years. Generally in great shape. Sand traps were hard packed & need some attention though.Even though fall conditions the greens were still quick. An enjoyable round of golf.

Well manicured course.

Considering the lack of rain that month the golf course was in excellent shape. It was hot that day and members took most of the carts but staff supplied us with a cart on the 6th hole. The range was free and the course very challenging. I play this course every year when I am in Collingwood. We were able to tee off early. Great value!
