Not great value. No screens in the Carter for yardage. Jammed extra tee times in which killed pace of play. Great course but terrible value for what it should be

Although we teed off at 6:30 I figured we would at least get through 13-14 holes. The pace of play was awful and I think there was a couple people didn’t even pay and jumped in front of us. Truthfully for eight holes of golf it was far too expensive. I understand there’s no marshals at that time but I kind of regret paying for this teatime fact I couldn’t even finish nine holes and close to three hours.

Played this course over 100 times

I have played this course at least 200 times in my life. On the 1st tee the starter told us to keep pace of play as they’re trying to speed up play for the members. As a former member I appreciate these instructions. By the 5th hole we had 3 groups waiting to tee off. By the 9th hole we had 4 groups waiting. The marshal who was just a kid repetitively told us hole after hole there was nothing he could do. It is a shame how this once iconic course is now treated as a 2 bit public course. Not to mention how bad the rough and greens are compared to when I was a member pre covid.

Took advantage of the great Monday deal - paid what I normally pay for a city course and Glen Abbey is definitely on a different level with fantastic conditions and a good course layout.

Fairways very good. T Boxes mah. Greens did not look cut, very slow with flowering Poianna. Maintenance staff need to learn when to stop working around greens and T’s.

Great course. Pace of play was slow on the Saturday, but that’s to be expected.
