Glen Abbey Golf Club

Great course. Front nine was nothing special, but back nine was magnificent. Unfortunately, we played the last 3 holes in near complete darkness because of the pace of play. The round took more than 5 hours, and there was no marshall all day. The group 2 in front of us held up the day. Would have been a very enjoyable day if the course hired a Marshall.

I stepped out of my vehicle , I was greeted with a big hello . After enjoying my game of golf, walked into the clubhouse for a lunch , was seated quickly and had a fabulous meal with good service .

Finally had a chance to play this course after watching the open play here over the years. Enjoyed every stroke, yes even the extra ones. Course was in great shape, greens were true and fast and the course layout was challenging. Enjoyed it more than TPC Toronto. Staff in the club house were attentive and courteous. Well recommended.

The golf course is highly over-rated at high cost. They post a high regular rate of $250 but will heavily discount at $150. But the issue is the bad operating practice we have experienced. They rushed us to start before our booking tee time to fit in their friends group. When we brought up our complaint to the pro-shop and the Director, there is no response. The course design is pretty outdated and you have to walk after parking our cart near the holes. We will not go back to play.

I played glen abbey now 3x, i think for the price you pay the condition is not that good. Especially when i look on the weekend it would cost 200-250cad which i think there are way better courses around for that amount.

The course just keeps not up anymore like 3-4 years ago. Back then the condition was perfect and worth to play/pay.

I can't say enough about the first rate staff and customer service. You guys and gals are special, just like the course
