Small greens made it challenging but great layout

The course was in good shape. Greens and fairways were fast, rough was reasonable, and the bunkers were as good as could be expected considering the rain. Staff went out of their way to make the experience a great one for my son(his first time there). Even got our food delivered out on to the course when it wasn't ready at the clubhouse after 9. Only issue was the carts. The first one I got in had a flat tire. Didn't notice that until we were at the range. My other sons cart had the battery warning light come on on our second hole. They brought one out for us on the course. We were surprised to see 4 other battery dead carts left around the course. I know they are getting a lot of extra use with single riders, but that would be something that needs to be addressed.

Was very much looking forward to playing the historic Glen Abbey, however, upon completion of my round I was quite disappointed. Though the layout of the course is challenging and well designed, the course conditions were no where near what they should be for a regular price green fee of $241, much less the reduced rate I paid of $150. Tee boxes where littered with divots, bunkers were growing grass and the greens were full of ball marks, which is unacceptable for even for even a $100 green fee. It’s really too bad Clublink has let this course go, especially for the members. I will never be back nor recommend this course.

Tight well manicured fairways Riddled with bunkers. Strategically placed trees made approach shots difficult. Checked my approach shot onto the green and back into the water on 18 making me feel one with the legends who have done this before me.

First time playing Glen Abbey and was very excited for the experience. Very disappointed in what was offered. Despite the area being in Phase 3 of the COVID reopening, we were told we could not enter the property until 10 minutes before tee time. That is simply not enough time to warmup properly on the range,, buy some drinks and hit a few practice putts. For the cost, you’d expect gps in the carts, but not provided. Pro shop had hardly any merchandise and no women’s shirts whatsoever which was disappointing. Overall seemed to be paying for the history rather than what it is now. Layout is nice, just overpriced for the quality.

I like the layout of the course and always have. We’ve had a dry, hot summer but Club Link is a joke - they don’t take care of their courses. The course is yellow and any grass off the green or fairway is hard pan. Water the course, man. Greens are full of ball marks - that’s from the ignoramuses who don’t repair their ball marks. Staff is very friendly and helpful. No complaints there. But the course needs to be in better shape for the prices they charge. It’s not good value for the money.

Let’s face it Glen Abbey is an awesome Goff course and the layout is fantastic. Unfortunately we are playing in a COVID world right now so the overall experience was not what it would and should be normally. I was a little dissatisfied with the fact that we only had about 20 minutes before the round to hit some balls and really that’s not enough time. I didn’t like the fact that we were told to start on the 10 tee and there was no staff no starter and then when we came back around to the first tee there was a little confusion and again no stall and no starter to guide us.

$250 per person is far too much. Amenities are limited, course is in terrible condition (mostly brown), no beverage carts (or water stations), and they aren't raking the bunkers.

Every other course around has figured out how to operate under COVID conditions, Clublink has seriously dropped the ball. I won't be returning.
