Great course, was in awe of the views. Got there early and let us play, no one in front or behind us the whole time.

course is so beautiful.

this course grate to play this time with friends, enjoy colorful leafs end landscape.

I always go to this course at fall just to enjoy its scene with all trees in colors, the course is huge up down in the hills, you need a power cart absolutely.

I played this course in the early fall and the scenery it offers was stunning especially by the green on the 9th hole. I saw possibly salmon or trout swimming up the streams and wished I brought a fishing rod and a filet knife for some on-course fresh sashimi.

Course design: Most of the par 3s had downhill greens which meant that I clubbed up. I found the par 5s to be long and arduous; a great tee shot left me with a uphill/downhill lie because the fairway can be narrow. Most of the tee boxes were dry, grass-less at most, and had lots of divots. +1 for the poor maintenance. This course is not walkable by any means.

Verdict: Beautiful, challenging course = high score.

Hockley is a incredibly challenging and beautiful golf course. The fairways and greens are in beautiful shape and the course gets better and better hole after hole. My only complaint is the pace of play. We managed to get around the front 9 in 2 hrs and when we came to 10 there were 3 groups on the hole. Other than the 3hr back nine this is a must play even more so when you consider the deals you can find on golf now.

From the time of first arrival at the bag drop the staff was excellent - even better service than a typical resort course. Par 3's involve amazing elevation changes. Really enjoyed the round and will return....

Amazing views and elevations. The course is always in great condition. The price is really cheap for what you get. Sometimes there is traffic at some of the holes as they are pretty difficult.

Course needs marshal badly. ...two foursome at each hole wait...made for an unpleasant experience

It takes more than 5 1/2 hours for a round since there is no marshal on the course. It's quite frustrating to play because no one can normalize the pace of play even if there are extremely slow golfers who really do not care others at all.

I played this course twice now and have never enjoyed it! The second time the starter messed up my tee time. The pace is always slow. The condition is average at best. Tee boxes are very confusing to follow. Cart paths are two narrow and going both ways. It is a very difficult design. Frankly, it is one of 2 courses that made me want to go home before its over, the other one being Turtle Creek! The only positive comment I can make is the natural beauty surrounding it.

Every hole is a great view. Easy to lose balls, but found a lot more.

Staffs were superfriendly and course maintained well.
I am very satisfied. I will strongly recommend to my friends.

We have played here a couple of times and enjoyed as usual. Little slower pace this time as there were mainly couples enjoying themselves. So picturesque!

A good test from the green tees for the average golfer. Don't use either back tees unless you can drive the ball long and can hit long irons. No bunkers. Just thick grass bunkers. Great condition and true greens.

Excellent golf course with lots of elevation changes

Reminds me of another great McBroom course, Deerhurst.

From the first tee to the last tee, a real pleasure to play. The views are amazing while enjoying a challenging round of golf.

Great value! But bring a lot of golf balls & your hiking boots. Lots of elevation changes and a lot of climbing. Narrow, tree-lined fairways, elevated, sloping greens and no bunkers! Bring a camera as well as there are a lot of picturesque holes.
