Beginning of the Season
I have had several people talk about this course. I'm sure when everything grows in it is quite beautiful. Smaller greens and some narrow spots create some interesting challenges. No bunker play.
For the price It didn't leave me with a that big of an impression.

nice course, could use garbage picked up in bushes and along paths.

Great setting, lots of up and down. You wouldn't walk this course. Well maintained.
Had a good challenging round
Even this late in the season, an excellent track to play on. It was cold and miserable but the had a good time on the course. Will certainly play this course again when the weather is better.

Perhaps it is the end of the season, he fairways were not in good shape.
This course is my favorite fall season golf course. The fall colours are outstanding.
This is a must play for anyone that needs to test their abilities.
I prefer the tips as it offers tee blocks at the highest elevation in the windest of conditions, it truely tests your golfing skills as you will use all the clubs in your bag without hitting a sand shot.
The hole is never over until the putt has been sunk. A must play.
A spectacular place to play in the fall.
It is always fun to play Hockley Valley. The course calls for a wide variety of golf shots. Conditions were average, pace of play a little slow. Well received at bag drop and pro shop. Had a great day.
Well kept
The course was in very good condition for this time of year. The clubhouse staff and starter were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the time it took to get round! There were too many playing and it took approx 10 minutes wait on each hole!! I would recommend playing this course but on a day when the weather is not as good so can get a full 18 holes in! We teed off at 1.10 and didn't get to play the full 18. That said I would play this course again
If its windy stay home
This course has very narrow sometimes pitched landing areas and very narrow greens.In windy conditons its very tough to play Theres blind shots to flags you cant see from fairways.Club selection is dificult due to the extreme elevation differences on most of the par 3s. Since it was very windy it was a frustrating day and not enjoyable

One of the best courses to play in Ontario if not all of Canada!
Elevation Changes and Scenery
Play there annually for a friendly match as it's equidistant from Port Credit and Barrie. Have been playing in late September so fall colours are always a nice visual. Only a small amount of water hazards, otherwise it's the elevation changes and dog legs that make this memorable.
Small issue with the Golf Now bookings, but the pro shop handled it like... pros.
Will definitely be back.
Great course
It was a challenge course and had very nice view. Especially staffs were very friendly and organized. There were a few slow players in front our team and we expected we couldn't finish on time. A marshal came to them and talked... After that, it was a highway and everybody was happy with it. We really appreciated it. I believe this is the reason why people love this course. I don't know his name but I'd like to say, Thank you!!!!!!
Such a Beautiful Course with no sand traps!
Beautiful as usual and still very challenging. Greens were extremely difficult to put. Some greens and fairways need attention from the greens keeper.
Slow play due to frost delay
A really good course - not for duffers. Fair but tough greens.

Lunch at the turn was overpriced for what you purchased.
The course is amazing and tough, it was in very good condition. The staff were freindly and our starter had some great tips! As a fairly new golfer this course was very tough for me to play, but I had a great time! I will definitely tackle this course again.
Beautiful!
I've played at this course like couple of dozen times, but I never get tired of it becuz every hole is unique and challenging. The scenery is wonderful as this is located in the hilly Hockley Valley. The fairways are good and the greens are super. The only drawback I can think of is that the first and last holes are not as exciting as the other holes.
Lots of evelation changes
Some really great holes with spectacular views of the terrain around us. Some holes very long unless your a long hitter to begin with. Loved the course
