Great Course
There are some tricky holes but overall a great experience the staff was great and the course was in great shape we will be coming back.
cart path only rule
the cart path only rule was rather unnecessay on 95% of the course, resulting in a 5 hr+round, making for a punishing afternoon
Greens not up to the standard normally are
First off, I booked a twilight tee time for $41, which is normally a great deal. Most of the course was in fantastic shape, except the greens were as soft like I would expect out of a fairway on a top tear course. I'm sure if the hadbeen rolled it may have been different. So with this it left inconsistencies whole putting.
As for the tee time 7 minute intervals always create issues. As i was waiting for my tee time a group 2 groups ahead of me were waiting for a late person ended up 15min late for the time and staff members didn't send groups following just made everyone wait. I found it to be very unprofessional and lack of edacate.
Course layout though is fantastic challenges all skill levels.
Terrible
The his course is in rough shape. Rough is long, dead grass all over. Greens are way too long and slow. Took 5 hours to play 18 holes. No marshal to speed up the morons ahead making it slow. I want a refund.
Good day for golf
It’s early in the season greens were in good shape but fairways still pretty soft cart path only. Fairway grass a little long and second cut long hard to find ball if not in fairway. Due to softness of fairways unable to mom course properly. As dryer weather comes I’m sure the course will be in great shape and is a good challenge from any of the tee boxes
Nice course early in the year
Course was really wet and did not drain well but in great condition and a good layout. Fun course and will be going back
Course has character and a great layout, conditions aren't the best.
I've golfed the oaks many times. I like the course however the conditions haven't been optimal but it's not too bad. Last year I played here a lot less because I felt the prices were much too high for a course of this tier. Still solid place for a round of gold though.
First Timer
we are 3-4/year golfers looking for a little nicer course/experience for our annual father/son game. it felt a little slow at times but in the end, it was probably 4 1/2 hours for the round - not bad really! the course didnt really set up well for MY game, but worked well for my playing partner. if not for that, i would definitely play the Oaks again.
Perfect greens.
The greebs held from a distance, and they rolled true.
Oaks of St George
this course is challenging, picturesque, in great shape, and is a pleasure to play(even hole 4 my nemesis).
highly recommend this tract to any and everyone,
