Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club

Course was very wet but in excellent condition nevertheless. DId not miss any putts under 8 feet - they were rolling beautifully.

Cherry Downs is an excellent golf course. Great variety of holes with challenging greens.

This course is not easy to walk, and I think they should put up signs for the direction of next holes.

Great track, staff is friendly and holes are unique enough where you don't feel like it's Groundhog Day.
I was warned about how fast and slippery the greens are, I was slightly disappointed with the condition of the greens but not enough to complain or ruin the Cherry Down experience.

Well I was looking forward to playing here. They had a junior golf tournament on. They should alert players on the golf now website that there is one. I would not have paid the money to go play it. I played 9 holes and walked back to my car.
Greens were rock hard, very dry and not very smooth.
Will not be returning.

Fantastic course - amazing Lightning fast greens but too much to ride $22 per player for a cart. Very tough course - do not play the blues unless you are 10hdcp or under. Greens are the fastest and hardest I have ever played but very true. Difficult to walk.

Since it became public there are little things that really changed the experience. I had to check in by sending an email with my confirmation And that was a huge problem because intially I had trouble. Secondly for the price I was disappointed in how slow and heavily sanded the greens were. I was a single jammed in between groups. Lots of downside for what it cost in my opinion

Overall I was disappointed with my experience here. As a former club link member my experience started of poorly. The staff asked me to send an email confirming my registration. I don't typically use data so that was a unnecessary pain as I had my confirmation printed with ID. Secondly there was no notice that the greens were punxhwd and heavely sanded so they were rolling at a 5.5 on the stimp. Very disappointed in that as it's supposed to be the allure of this course. The pace was rushed at times because I was sent out as a single an overall it wasn't like I remember when I was a member

Its nice to see that this Club Link Course has opened up to the public again, I used to play Cherry Downs 35 years ago and enjoyed playing it again. Course offers all that can be imagined in its layout and very fast greens to challenge even the best of players. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
