This course has a great layout
I have played this course regularly before it became a clublink course. It always had the most difficult greens of any course I have played. The greens were designed to copy the Augusta golf course at the instruction of the original owners. It was always in excellent condition, however, this time the fairways were in terrible condition with large patches of dirt and uneven patches of grass. The greens had recently been drssed and we're very Sandy although they did roll smoothly. They also have let the vegetation on many holes to grow too high making it very difficult to hit over hazzards. I used to love this course having played it hundreds of times. I will never play this course again regardless of the price. Clublink should be ashamed the way they let his course go downhill.

We are constantly working on the course and that includes moving dirt throughout the course, you may have caught us in the midst of that. We hope that is the not the only reason to not return - we'd love to speak with you further to understand any further items we can do to enhance your experience in the future.
Great place to play
Had a great 13 holes, then I met Bill, one of their Marshalls. He made my day. Truly was interested in me having a good time. We had a great conversation, gave me sightlines and even drove me to my car when done. Unbelievable service at a superb golf course.

Always good greens
I've been playing here for a long time. Course is in nice shape. Greens are smooth and quick. In order to help play and conditions they need to cut down a ton of trees. Could be a superb course with some hard work.

Great course.
Course is challenging but fair. Greens were fast and also a challenge to read. Ended up behind a slow couple of players that made it a slow round. Enjoyed playing the course a will likely play it again.

I'll be back
Picked up a hot deal at short notice on this course and I'm glad I did. One of the most interesting layouts I've seen with accuracy at a premium. Greens were fantastic. Unfortunately we got rained off not way through the back nine, but I'll be back to finish this gem off.

Not a level,place on any green !
We enjoyed our day. Course is challenging for a mid capper. Greens are really tough. I now know where Whitby is!!! The starter warned us that all greens slope towards Whitby. The course was somewhat dry and alot of hard dry patches. Got a great value from Golfnow with the 25% bonus discount. Because of the greens, which were very frustrating, I'm not sure I will
l be coming back soon ?

The staff was really good. Very helpful.
The pace of play was very very slow. It's a classic style course with narrow fairways and lots of trees. The greens are tough but true.

Interesting layout
The max yardage is deceiving. The course plays longer. Many tee shots are narrow with landing areas that require accuracy. Greens are fast. Be careful about the 18th green if the placement is at the front: your ball can roll 20 yds off the green.
Good course but now over-crowded/slow
Course is in good shape.
But, the pace of play was terrible. Tee times too close together and no marshal dictating the pace.
We teed off at 3.30 pm. Front 9 took almost 3 hours. Couldn't even finish (got dark around 7.30). Only got through 15 holes.
2 groups ahead of us was a foursome. Took 45 minutes to get through first two holes and two groups were waiting at every tee behind them. No marshal to be seen.
Maybe I will play here, but only off hours.
Go further north/east for better bang for your buck.
