Black Diamond Golf Club

Course is in great shape considering the constant rain we've been having, and 1 hole was a temp green which was the only disappointing thing about Black Diamond.

I KNOW IT IS EARLY MAY BUT OUR FOURSOME DID NOT EXPECT THE GOLF COURSE TO BE THIS BAD. THE TEE BOXES FAIRWAYS & GREENS HAD SUFFERED BADLY OVER THE WINTER. IT WAS HARD TO FIND ANY GREEN GRASS TO HIT THE BALL OFF OF. ON THE PLUS SIDE THE COURSE WAS VERY DRY DESPITE ALL THE RECENT RAIN IN THE AREA. THE STAFF IN THE RESTAURANT WERE ILL PREPARED FOR LUNCH. WE ORDERED 2 SAUSAGES ON A BUN,AS THEY HAD RUN OUT OF HOT DOGS.WE HAD TO ASK FOR THE CONDIMENTS & EVEN FOR A NAPKIN. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I’m a regular golfer at 2 other courses and this is by far my favourite course. Challenging and beautiful. Perfect for any level golfer.

Great course always a pleasure to play, its been in tip top condition over the past few years even through harsh weather. However staff has never seems to return emails and calls, service carts have been hard to come by throughout the course sometimes non existent even on a Saturday afternoon.

This is an excellent course for the money and they offer great deals on Golf Now and on their own website.

I've been a member now for 2 years and every time I bring someone from out of town they are blown away by the course. I've played numerous high end private and public courses throughout the GTA and this ranks right up there with the best of them.

CAUTION! Bring your A game!

Played from the farthest back silver "pro" tee's one round today. Unreal challenge. Definitely worth the try if you want a challenge! When you crush the best drive of the day.. but are still 200 yards from the green... on a par 4 you know you made a mistake lol. This course has an amazing challenge for all levels, for me I will stick to the blacks and/or blues.

Fairways in excellent shape for time of year,leaf management great greens excellent

The course is in good shape but the greens had been aerated recently and were quite bumpy. The new layout is great compared to the formally punishing back nine. Great value compared to other courses in the area.

First season coming to an end, and have visited around 15 or so courses. This is one of my favourites. Pace of play is always decent, course usually in good shape. Am a fan of the layout as well.

This was our first time to play the course and luckily we played with two guys who played it before. The tee boxes could use some real work and the grrens were very firm and could use some care as could some of the bunkers. All of this still would not stop us from returning and recommending the course. Fun snd challenging layout . No marshalls all day and the run ran over 5 hours and we waited on every tee. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They want you to come back. Make rhe trip and have fun.

If you like to use almost every club in your bag, then this course is where that will happen. Course knowledge is a must With out it you are taking chances with unknown results. Would not recommend walking this course. Lots of unique challenges and finesse shots are required. Will be back again.
