Black Diamond Golf Club
About
Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Black Diamond
Good course for the money. Quite a few holes involve elevation changes which make this course a bit tougher to play The course is fairly well maintained. Staff are not the friendliest.
Fantastic experiences
Incredible conditioning, spectacular fast large undulating greens. Great pace and staff. Beautiful scenery and facilities. Fabulous value for your golf dollar.
Top tier layout
Fabulous golf course, heard about it for years finally booked a round on golfnow.com. The layout is a mix between, parkland, linx, forest and stadium type holes. I played off the tips and some serious carry and accuracy is needed in the forest and on some long par 4's #2 is a beast. There are some great birdie holes mixed in you can play well but you need to earn it with good tee shot's here. It is a bit of a drive (hour-ish) from Markham area but the cost ($45) w cart and playing a REAL course makes up for it. I will play this again. Highly recommend.
Beautiful layout
Very nice golf course. Was in great shape. Nice long holes
played 27th July
Overall the course was in decent shape given the fact we have had very little rain in weeks,The fairways were good as were most greens. thirteen green (i think ) looked a little distressed and had been sanded. nice day out though, I would recommend the course,,
Little bit of rain has greened things up
We've had very little rain this summer and when I drove by the course a week or so ago, it looked burned out. We've had some good rain over the last couple of days and the course looks great. Fairways are green and lush and the greens are in great shape.
Always enjoy playing here.
Another Great Round
One of my favourite courses. Difficult (and good) greens. Elevations, and amazing lay out. With holes both links style and in the forest. Rained the first couple holes but the course was by no means wet. Caught up to a slower 4-some, but just teamed up with another single behind me to finish up the last 6 holes and had a great time.
Outstanding experience all around!
Everything was super about the course: condition, layout, pace of play. Also, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play this course again!
A hidden gem
Black Diamond always delivers a great round of golf. Course is in great condition. Staff is amazing. Thank U!!!
Great Shape
Have not played here in years and find the course to be better laid out now. We haven’t had rain in ages but the course was green.
Amazing Course
First time playing and will definitely place it in my top 5 courses within an hours drive. Greens were challenging which I like as putting is my strong suit. Course was immaculate, beverage cart was seen 3-4 times, those in the pro-shop nice and helpful. Felt like a challenge so shot from the diamond 7000 total yard tees, just a few strokes shy of breaking 100. Maybe next time :-)
Wasn't that busy. Bunch of twosome going in front of our twosome. 3.5 hour played
Truly one of Ontarios best courses and challanging as well
