About
Carved from the scenic woodlands along the eastern shores of Georgian Bay, Oak Bay Golf & Country Club incorporates rocky outcroppings and natural water features into its challenging championship design. The eastern coast of the bay is one of the largest freshwater archipelagos in the world and is home to diverse flora and hundreds of varieties of birds and fish. Both the fairways and greens are sloped and well manicured. In addition to the many natural challenges, which include trees and ponds, there are numerous strategically placed traps to watch out for. Oak Bay is located less than two hours north of Toronto but its beautiful setting makes it feel much further.

Love this course
Pristine condition. Absolutely beautiful. Play from forward tees...enjoy. Remember you are probably not a Pro.
Outstanding
One of my favourites...pristine. But...no Marshall. Our 4some waited on every hole. 4 guys ahead in trouble every hole....2 open holes ahead. Wouldn't let us through. Held up entire course. Disappointing. Will still play here, love it.
Tough and Sweet
This course is definitely challenging for any golfer. Be prepared to go through a few sleeves of balls. It's a wee bit pricey but definitely worth playing at least once. Staff are second to none and food was amazing!
Lightning greens
Super tight course. Greens were some of the fastest I’ve played which was a little more than I would like but maybe it was just rolled. Condition of greens were mediocre at best but they rolled true nonetheless. If you can’t hit the ball straight you’re taking lots of penalties. Really thick rough makes it punishing to miss the fairway. Great value for a tough track.
Nice course but difficult
Nice course but not for beginner golfers; lots of blind shots, narrow fairways, tall weeds. Clubhouse is AWESOME!
Challenging Course
The course was in excellent shape and the staff were friendly. Distance between holes are such that you need a cart. It is a very challenging course if you are not straight and there were too many tees shots where you could not see the fairway landing area because of the tall grass/shrubs.I would definitely recommend this course for good players but would advise high handicappers to play somewhere else and save your balls. I prefer to walk so that was a negative.

Very challenging course. Great condition. A little pricey. No driving range however.
There were seven of us and we had a great time playing it.

Great Muskoka Course
Great course, scenic and in top-notch condition. Every fairway lie was perfect. Staff were friendly and very helpful. My only complaint is with Golf Now - while I got a great price with a Hot Deal, when the storm came after hole 13, I could not get a rain check, even though the starter thought I should get one, but Hot Deals do not allow a rain check - not fair :(
Absolutely Breath taking golf!
An absolute delight to play this course - full of water views - course conditions were super. We did a replay and enjoyed 2 rounds in n the same day and then had dinner at the Resturant with amazing view of the golf course and lake.
