About
Carved from the scenic woodlands along the eastern shores of Georgian Bay, Oak Bay Golf & Country Club incorporates rocky outcroppings and natural water features into its challenging championship design. The eastern coast of the bay is one of the largest freshwater archipelagos in the world and is home to diverse flora and hundreds of varieties of birds and fish. Both the fairways and greens are sloped and well manicured. In addition to the many natural challenges, which include trees and ponds, there are numerous strategically placed traps to watch out for. Oak Bay is located less than two hours north of Toronto but its beautiful setting makes it feel much further.

No ball washers
I cannot believe a nice course with no ball washers. Not on a cart or any hole. One of the nicest par 3s you will ever play.

Good .......but can be better
Very nice course. Some traps a little thin. Missing ball washers. None on cart as well. Garbage cans few and far between. Signage to next hole can be better. One of the best par 3s you will ever play.
Amazing golf course!
This golf course is situated at the south tip of Muskoka area. One of the most beautiful course I played - with many natural lake views and muskoka rocks. You can constantly hearing bird singing and see the swans and herons wondering around course. The club house has goid food and amazing views.
Beauty course
Everything about this course is nice, a little attitude by the starter was not expected at such a up scale course, not for the low end golfer, also no ball washers or garbage cans at any of the holes which I found weird, but pristine fairways and greens
Course in Very Poor Condition
We played at the end of the season so some difficulty was expected but this was ridiculous. The Fairways were very, very wet so cart path only was acceptable but they were barely able to be walked on. There were piles of leaves on the rough so many balls were unfindable there. The greens had been aerated so there were hundrets of punch marks on each green which had not been cut. I have played this course when it was in much better condition but to be charged this price for this day was inappropriate.
Outstanding
One of my favourites...pristine. But...no Marshall. Our 4some waited on every hole. 4 guys ahead in trouble every hole....2 open holes ahead. Wouldn't let us through. Held up entire course. Disappointing. Will still play here, love it.
Tough and Sweet
This course is definitely challenging for any golfer. Be prepared to go through a few sleeves of balls. It's a wee bit pricey but definitely worth playing at least once. Staff are second to none and food was amazing!
Lightning greens
Super tight course. Greens were some of the fastest I’ve played which was a little more than I would like but maybe it was just rolled. Condition of greens were mediocre at best but they rolled true nonetheless. If you can’t hit the ball straight you’re taking lots of penalties. Really thick rough makes it punishing to miss the fairway. Great value for a tough track.
