About
Dragonfly Golf Club is located in the upper Ottawa Valley in the town of Renfrew, which sits along the Bonnechere River. The course sprawls across rolling hills speckled with exposed rock faces, mature trees, and sparkling blue ponds, all of which come into play throughout. The scenic surroundings can be distracting because of the panoramic views overlooking the Ottawa Valley, but the design will demand your attention. The front nine has a traditional links layout while the back nine plays more like target golf. Despite offering two unique nines, they blend together seamlessly to form a golf course that will test all of your shot making skills. In addition to the golf course, Dragonfly has a driving range with 20 hitting stations and the option of tee matts or natural grass. Chipping and putting greens with a practice bunker are also available adjacent to the range.

Great Course
Thoroughly enjoyed the course, staff very friendly as well. Extremely dry weather conditions had the rough burnt but fairways in good shape. Greens were in excellent shape. Would definitely go back and play again.

Hidden Gem
This course being a bit more of a drive out of Ottawa maybe leaves it a bit overlooked. We are in a pretty wicked drought and most courses are crispy. Dragonfly is still very green, almost too green if you end up in the rough. The staff is always friendly and there is a great mix of tee box combinations on the card to have it play at length you're comfortable with. Fun layout too, linksish on the front then it moves up into Canadian shield hills for the back. Totally worth the trip. Busy day and the round took 4 hours and 5 minutes.

My Favorite Course in the Ottawa Area
This is the golf course you should go to! We’ve had no rain and terrible heat for most of July and the greens are in excellent condition. The whole course is excellently maintained and the staff are the best, feels like home!
Thanks Louisering. All the credit goes to our Superintendent Donny and his amazing crew. They work tirelessly to provide our guests with a well conditioned course. Nobody sees them up at 4am working hard to keep the course green. I will pass along your kind words.
Worth the drive
Course was in nearly perfect shape. The starter was very helpful with a full rundown of what to expect on a majority of the holes. Greens were well manicured and fairly fast, but also deceivingly challenging. The pace was also outstanding as we finished 18 in four hours with very little waiting around on the tees. Well worth the hour drive out of Ottawa.

Dragonfly is fun
Front nine is a warm up for the more interesting back. Always enjoy playing here. Fore!
We enjoy having you at our facility. The front lets you miss the driver a bit more but I find the greens tougher on the front. Can't win them all lol.
Great course for the money!
From the entrance the course doesn't look like much but once you're out playing it; it's a beautiful design with many challenges. The shop keeper provided me with a yardage guide, which really helped with never playing the course before. There were a couple holes that once you're familiar with the hole you'd certainly play it differently. For example #10
Some of the greens didn't winter well, but all they need is some time.
rhodgson27 thanks for taking the time to do a review of our course. #10 is tough on a good day depending on the wind direction. The greens are healing more and more each day and it won't be long until they roll like the other 15 do which is fast and true. Take care.

Fairways were good little dry but better then most I've played this year. Front 9 is wide open links style back 9 more narrow. Staff in the pro shop, starter, and Marshall were all super cool and talk to you like you are a member!! First time I've played there and would recommend and will also be back. Nice job Dragonfly!

Even on the hottest day, this course and staff were great...love the layouts and surprise hills, lots of beautiful trees and scenery. It was my first time here and I’m booking again

Dragonfly in great shape
I recently played this course and the greens and fairways are in great shape. If you find yourself just off the fairway the grass is is getting a little thicker making it more challenging. The grounds crew has done an amazing job getting the course to the shape that is in now. Well done!

Yes, "worth the drive"
This course has great elevation changes and challenges you to think where you need to make your shot placement. Greens are always pristine. All round, customer service is exceptional.
A gem
Highly reccomend Dragonfly, great staff,especially Denise,beautiful conditions,a well looked after course.Organized with starter and Marshall's.Golfing here is a pleasure and green freescale very reasonable.Hole 15 and 16 test your stamina and skill level.18 is a great signature hole and a fun way to end the round!
