About
Dragonfly Golf Club is located in the upper Ottawa Valley in the town of Renfrew, which sits along the Bonnechere River. The course sprawls across rolling hills speckled with exposed rock faces, mature trees, and sparkling blue ponds, all of which come into play throughout. The scenic surroundings can be distracting because of the panoramic views overlooking the Ottawa Valley, but the design will demand your attention. The front nine has a traditional links layout while the back nine plays more like target golf. Despite offering two unique nines, they blend together seamlessly to form a golf course that will test all of your shot making skills. In addition to the golf course, Dragonfly has a driving range with 20 hitting stations and the option of tee matts or natural grass. Chipping and putting greens with a practice bunker are also available adjacent to the range.

Course was lots of fun to play, great for all abilities
Always a Challenge
Given the very wet spring weather, the course was in good shape with only one hole being restricted to cart path only.
The course offers two distinct 9's, with one being a meadow type, with water in play on 4 holes, and the second nine carved among hillside terrain, presenting a totally different challenge. Have always found staff very accommodating,

On this particular day it was very busy due to a special promotion..it was very slow going on the last 4 holes due to 2 separate couples that had cut in front from somewhere and they slowed everyone to a crawl..on 17 while getting ready to play second shot to the green my GF was struck on the side of her neck from someone in the 4some behind,no one yelled fore they knew we were ahead of them and in a low area where golfers are out of sight for a short time,she was in quite some pain,crying,I was so angry..what should be done on this hole is place a Bell to ring letting others know it is safe for them to hit..there is a bell on #10..Sean in the pro shop was apologetic and gave a voucher for a free game,my only concern today on any golf course is the incredible stupidity you see out on the course ...ETIQUETTE folks
Nice track very friendly staff
This course is well maintained and fun to play. The golfer and staff are very friendly and makes this course that much more pleasant to play. Bottom line my wife and I had a great time.
Course layout is awesome and the greens are generally fast. Course is recovering quickly from the winter damage but there is still spots where it is really wet.
Very Good Deal
One of the best values in the Ottawa valley. Course staff is very friendly. The past winter was brutal on many courses in Eastern Ontario but although not perfect, Dragonfly's condition is much better than the others I have played on.
Great Staff!!
The staff is always friendly and willing to go out of there way to make sure your day of golf is as enjoyable as possible.
Any questions or concerns are answered and addressed with a positive, friendly attitude.
I mostly like to golf and go, but with the great burgers from the kitchen, it’s hard not have a quick snack before heading out. Not to mention the quick full size breakfast for the early morning rounds.
All in all, thanks again DrangonFly Staff for the great days of golf.
Amazing
This course is in better shape than any other public course I’ve played this year. The greens are perfect!
Golf Ottawa Valley
We love to use GolfNow to explore new course. Dragonfly is 1h30 from home and well worth the drive. Very nice layout especially the back nine carved into a Canadian shield type of forest. Very well kept club and course. We will be back.

Played 18 holes today and enjoyed the spring conditions of the course.

i was very surprised by how fantastic the course was considering all the water we have been getting this year. so i am guessing their drainage is doing a great job along the the staff & grounds crew. i will be back again soon.
Good little course in Renfrew
Played here a number of times. It's a tale of two nines, with the front being a little easier, and wider open, and the back being more hilly and tougher. It's a great deal, and worth the drive.
An largely unknown golf course..
This is a really great go,f course in Renfrew,our cottage is about 25 minutes away and we play every week.
The staff is great,friendly and helpful,the layout and conditions are excellent.
It’s a bit of a drive if you’re in Ottawa,but well worth it-I hesitate to add more as I don’t want the course to get too popular!
Great Fall Golfing
Despite all odds, this course continues to be in excellent shape. As they say in their advertisement, well worth the drive.

Our foursome has been playing Dragonfly for about 5 years,this course is a hidden gem.
Selfishly I hope it stays somewhat hidden,because the very reasonable fees and excellent condition of the course will bring people back and make it too popular!
Nice layout,great staff,fast greens,lots of challenging holes with elevation and some water,this course is one you never get tired of playing.
Highly recommend making the drive out to Renfrew,you won’t be disappointed..
