My favourite course. When I want to impress my friends I take them here. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Great value for the payout
Friendly staff
Beautiful scenery
Some greens being worked on but ok as Tis the season
Punched greens starting to come back so putting a challenge
Overall great drive in from Barrhaven for a good day on the course
Nice Property
First time on the course. Lots of variety on all the holes and not one is easy . Unless you are able to run the triathlon, do not walk this course, lots of ups and downs,
Biggest disappointment of the course is their Greens. Front nine greens were full of dead spots, looked like winter kill or disease. On the back nine, greens condition was a little better but still spotty.
A lot of their fairways had large areas that were totally burnt out and badly in need of irrigation.
In summary. A wonderful piece of real estate for a golf course, but needs a bag full of tlc to bring it up to it’s full potential.
staff very informative, friendly, helpful, they make you feel welcome. The Course is in excellent condition which makes it a pleasure to play. Great layout with hills and valleys elevated tee boxes and dog legs. Draws and fade shots are needed often.
Look forward to plying this course again.
Winter kill
Most greens had winter kill, putting on them was brutal and you all know that is a critical part of the game.
I will not be returning until August, maybe they will be able to recover them by then.
I’m glad I got a hot deal or I would have been upset.
Great course and layout, greens were in rough shape! Very hard to make a good round with tough greens. If in better shape it would be a great track!
Great Course & Great People
Really enjoyed my time here. Course is a great setup and staff treated us first class. Will be back.
Terrible condition
Most of the greens are not playable - dead patchy grass, mostly dirt and a few of them are roped off mid green. They are in serious need of repair and from the look of things doubt they will be recovered this year. The fairways look fine from a distance but play like they’ve not had any water this year - some places are like playing off cement. Real shame as we used to like this course. Played a less expensive one in this same area the week before and it was in fine shape.
